The world-famous physicist Yang Zhenning died in Beijing on October 18, 2025. He was a great scientist as well as an important person in China’s scientific development.

On April 19, the world’s first half-marathon (半程马拉松) for humanoid (人形的) robots was held in Beijing. The robots waited beside human runners, starting from the same line.
