Step2
The teacher introduces the concept of "ex-millionaire" and guides students to predict what Jason Harley did with his money based on the title "Money vs. Success".
Read the news report based on an interview with Jason Harley, who used to be a millionaire. Read and find out his attitude towards money.
Do some preparations before reading the passage.
Step3
Let students underline the descriptions of Jason’s life in the past and now. Use a graphic organizer to illustrate students’ understanding.
Skimming the passage to decide true or false .Scanning the passage to find the best answers to the questions.
Cultivate the Ss’ reading ability by fast reading and careful reading.
