As the new year comes, many people make resolutions to become better versions of themselves. I'm no exception. Looking back on last year, I felt I could do more to improve myself—so I've made three main resolutions for this year, and I plan to stick to them with hard work and clear plans.
First, I want to improve my English. My biggest weakness is listening comprehension, so I will listen to English songs during morning walks and watch 10 - minute English short videos every evening. I also plan to join the school English club, where I can talk more with classmates in English and practice pronunciation. Second, I decide to keep fit. I'm not good at sports, but I know regular exercise is important. So I will run to school every morning instead of taking the bus, and play basketball with friends after class twice a week. I'll also keep a fitness journal to track my progress. Finally, I hope to be more responsible at home. My parents are always busy with work, so I will help them do housework like cleaning my room, washing dishes, and taking out the rubbish every weekend.
Making resolutions is easy, but keeping them needs courage and persistence. I will write down my progress every month and ask my family to remind me when I feel lazy. I also plan to reward myself with a small gift after achieving a mini - goal. I believe with these efforts, I can achieve my resolutions and have a meaningful year.

Technology is developing faster than ever, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and robots are going to shape our future in ways we can not imagine.
At home, smart robots will become our most reliable helpers. They won't just clean the house or cook simple meals—they will learn our habits and preferences. For example, a robot cook will remember your favorite flavors and adjust recipes accordingly; a care robot will remind the elderly to take medicine on time and monitor their health conditions. AI will make our homes "smarter" too. You can control the lights, temperature, and even household appliances with just a voice command. If you forget to turn off the oven when going out, AI will send you an alert and turn it off automatically.
In the workplace, AI and robots will take over some boring and dangerous tasks. Factory robots will make products with higher efficiency, while AI will help doctors analyze medical data to make more treatment methods. Teachers will use AI tools to create personalized learning plans for students based on their strengths and weaknesses. However, this doesn't mean humans will lose jobs—instead, we will need to learn new skills to work with AI.
When it comes to transportation, self - driving cars guided by AI will be common on the roads. There will be fewer traffic accidents and the commuting(通勤) will be more efficient. You can work or relax in the car while AI handles the driving. Moreover, AI - powered public transport systems will adjust routes in real time according to passenger flow, saving people time.
Of course, the development of AI and robots also brings challenges, like data security. But as long as we use these technologies wisely, they will bring more convenience and happiness to our lives. The future is coming, and it's up to us to embrace it and make the most of it.

B. Make commuting less efficient
C. Allow passengers to work or relax during the trip
D. Need constant manual control

Pam Melroy believes we're going to find that we have a very different relationship with the machines around us. "I think we'll be able to control a machine just by saying some simple words," she said. For example, to land a plane, in Pam's words, a pilot may just need to say the words "prepare for landing".
