B Although AI can bring people comfort, it still cannot match the full abilities of a human doctor. From social relationships to work challenges, Chinese people are turning to DeepSeek to solve different personal problems. They describe sharing their thoughts and receiving helpful advice from the popular chatbot.AI is changing the way people find mental (心理的) health support. But can AI truly take the place of a human doctor? Around the world, 45 percent of people who needed mental treatment in 2024 did not receive it, with difficulties including cost and short of doctors, according to Daniel Lowd, a professor at the University of Oregon. He believes AI could help solve the short of mental health services. “If people can find some support and opinions by talking to a chatbot, then I think that’s wonderful,” said Lowd. Li Yong,a doctor at the Jiangsu Province Hospital, agreed with Lowd, saying that AI meets people’s needs for mental support in some ways. However, he points out that AI cannot completely take the place of real doctors because it doesn’t have human side which is important for therapy. Human doctors develop a deeper understanding of people’s feelings and needs through communication, which allows them to offer more practical treatment plans. The use of AI in mental health also raises worries over its reliability (可靠性). “AI chatbots will act as doctors if asked, without any of the training or responsibility of human doctors,” Richard Lachman, a professor in Canada. Scientists believe the key to make AI therapy safe is proper government regulation (监管). Wysa, for example, is a mental health app that offers conversations with an AI chatbot. In 2022, it worked with the UK’s National Health Service, following a list of strict standards. As AI becomes more a part of our lives, understanding its effects on human mental healthy means finding a balance between what’s helpful and what’s dangerous. 14.What does Daniel Lowd think of AI mental treatment? A.Harmful. B.Colorful. C.Doubtful. D.Useful. 15.Why does Li Yong believe AI can’t fully take the place of human doctors? A.AI is too expensive to get. B.AI is unable to give any advice. C.AI is unable to understand feelings. D.AI knows little about mental health. 16.What can we know about AI mental treatment according to the passage? A.It needs government rules to make it safe. B.Wysa can give its patients strict standards. C.It can be trained as a human doctor. D.People can use it without any worries. 17.What is the main topic of the article? A.The increasing use of AI chatbots. B.AI’s role in mental health care. C.The future of education with AI. D.The advantages of AI for mental support. C When winter arrived, the porcupine (豪猪) looked for somewhere nice and warm to live. He ran into the woods, looking around for a place. First, be came to a fallen tree trunk. “This looks like a suitable place!” he said, spying a hole in its side. But when he poked his head (探头) in, he heard “You can’t stay here. It’s our home, and breakfast lunch and dinner!” said hundreds of tiny termites (白蚁). The porcupine apologized and backed away. “Now where can I go?” he wondered. Then he found a space under a thick bush that seemed to be protected from the wind, so he tried crawling (爬) in there. “Hey!” hissed the lynx (猞猁), showing her sharp paws. “This is my place, and don’t you forget it!” The porcupine went away in a hurry-he didn’t want any trouble. The poor porcupine was really getting worried, “I might freeze if I don’t find somewhere to stay soon!” he said, his teeth chattering. A snake overheard the porcupine and felt sorry for him. She poked her head out of her hole and said. “Would you like to stay in here with me? My burrow (洞穴) is quite small, but I’m sure we can both fit!” The porcupine was ever so thankful! He pushed his way into the snake’s narrow home. “This is so nice!” he said. “How kind of you to let me in!” However, when the snake tried to get to sleep. she found it impossible to get into a comfortable position. Twist and turn as she might, she was always getting hurt by the porcupine’s spines (刺)... “Can you move over a bit?” she asked. The porcupine tried, but it didn’t help! They both spent an uneasy night in the little burrow and hardly slept at all! “I really wanted to help the poor porcupine,” the snake thought, “but I wish I’d never invited him in.” The porcupine was feeling just as upset. When morning came, he cleared his throat and said. “I’m sorry that things are so uncomfortable, especially as you have been so kind. I think I have an idea, if you agree!” The snake was still painful and tired from her sleepless night, so she just nodded. With his paws, the porcupine began scratching (创) at the hole’s walls. As the snake watched in wonder, the porcupine dug out an extra room that was just the right size for him. “There you are!” he said in a satisfied voice. “Now there is plenty of room for both of us!” The snake and the porcupine shared that burrow all winter. It was warmer with the two of them in it, and there was enough space for both animals to sleep comfortably. The snake enjoyed the stores the porcupine told and the porcupine was impressed by the snake’s skills at finding food. Their unlikely friendship made winter less lonely for both of them. “I’m glad I let you in!” the snake hissed. “It’s really nice to share my home!” 18.How many times had the porcupine tried before being invited by the snake? A.Once. B.Twice. C.Three times. D.Four times. 19.How did the snake’s feelings change? A.He pushed his way into the snake s narrow home. B.He ran into the woods, looking around for a place. C.The porcupine went away in a hurry—he didn’t want any trouble. D.With his paws, the porcupine began scratching at the hole s walls. 21.The snake and the porcupine can both stay safe and warm during winter. How is this like people and AI working together today according to the story? A.They compete with each other in daily lives. B.They share what they have to help each other. C.They learn from each other to solve problems. D.They collect information to make good decisions. 18.B 19.D 20.D 21.B D If you are reading this, you were probably born in the 2000s. The oh-ohs. The 21st century. That would make you young, creative, and no doubt smart. Maybe good-looking, too. Right? But what do other people think about your generation? Some adults worry that you’re more interested in the screen in front of you than the world around you. They think of you as the “face-down generation” because you use your phone so much. They wonder how you will deal with school, friends and family. Are today’s teenagers too busy texting and taking selfies (自拍) to become successful in real life or “IRL”, as you would say? Other adults worry that today’s youth are spoilt (溺爱) and don’t want to face the challenges of adult life. Many children born in the 1990s and 2000s were raised by “helicopter parents” who were always there to guide and help their children with a busy schedule filled with homework and after-school activities such as dancing, drawing, or sports. With parents who do everything for them, today’s youth seem to prefer to live like teenagers even when they are in their 20s or 30s. Does the face-down generation need a heads-up? Well, probably not. The fact is that many of today’s teenagers are better educated and more creative than past generations. They also seem to be willing to become leaders. More young people than ever volunteer to help their communities. There are also brave young people such as Malala Yousafzai, the teenager who won the 2014 Noble Peace Prize for pushing girls’ rights to go to school. So if you’re one of the oh-ohs, there’s no reason to be worried about the future. Things are looking up for the face-down generation. 22.Who is this passage written for? A.The teenager. B.The teachers. C.The parents. D.The oh-ohs. 23.What do helicopter parents always do? A.Help and direct their children. B.Do homework instead of children. C.Guide children to face challenges. D.Plan a busy schedule for children. 24.How does the writer feel about the younger generation? A.Anxious. B.Confident. C.Dissatisfied. D.Helpless 25.What can we learn according to the passage? A.Parents should put down their phones. B.Young people should be better educated. C.The oh-ohs should be hopeful about the future. D.Face-down generation should raise their heads. 22.D 23.A 24.B 25.C 第三部分 信息还原(共5小题;每小题1分,满分5分) 请认真阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项,并在答题卡上将该项涂黑。选项中有两项为多余选项。 The student syndrome (综合症) is a phenomenon where a large number of students put off doing things until right before the deadline. 26 Since it involves unnecessary delay, it usually leads to negative results for those who display it. They will feel stressed and overwhelmed, and the task seems to be never finished. To avoid the student syndrome, you should figure out what’s causing you to delay in the first place, and then use some techniques. 27 Break your tasks into small and manageable steps. Keep it in mind that if the project in question is large, then you generally shouldn’t worry about figuring out all the steps to it from the very beginning. 28 Then find new steps as you make progress along the way. This helps you avoid feeling upset and getting stuck. 29 For example, if you have a single deadline for completing a large research paper, set additional deadlines along the way for completing specific parts of it. These additional deadlines to be met will make the very large research paper more manageable and less frightening. Find your productivity cycles. People’s ability to complete certain tasks is different based on a great many factors such as the time of day. For example, it may be the case that you’re best able to concentrate on difficult tasks early in the morning, before you’ve started dealing with emails or minor administrative aspects of your job. 20 A.Establish specific goals for yourself. B.Set intermediate (中间的) deadlines for yourself. C.They can help you take action in a timely manner. D.This phenomenon can be considered to be a form of delay. E.You should take this into account when scheduling your work. F.Instead, start by finding the first few steps that you need to take. G.You should change your environment to make it easier for yourself to get started. 31. Don’t worry. Exercise snacks might be the perfect answer! Let’s explore this fun and easy way to stay active. Exercise snacks are physical activities lasting 1 to 5 minutes. Done during the day, just like snacks between meals, these “mini exercises” are quick and need no special tools. The term is first used in 2007 by cardiologist (心脏病学家) Dr. Howard Hartley, who was then a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Then, the value of these mini exercises has been agreed nore and more people. Researchers explain that exercise snacks can improve energy metabolism (新陈代谢), reduce blood sugar levels, and lower the risk of diseases caused by sitting too long. A study showed that climbing stairs three times a day for six weeks increased people’s oxygen intake by 5%, helping with heart health. Plus, they give out “feel-good” chemicals (化学物质) in your brain, making you happier! More benefits can be expected as well, such as the improvement of your concentration (专注力) and creativity. To help people start, researchers suggest some useful tips. For example, you can use everyday moments—take a two-minute walk after lunch or do sit-ups while brushing your teeth. The key is to repeat it for many times and keep it short and fun. Remember, exercise snacks aren’t meant to replace daily exercise but to add more movement to your day. Let’s start with one or two “snacks” daily and slowly build the habit! 54.How long do exercise snacks usually last? 55.What examples of exercise snacks are mentioned in the article? 56.How do you like exercise snacks? Why do you think so? A Puzzle Piece of Growth Growth is like solving a puzzle, in which every piece ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 参考答案 第一部分 完形填空(共10小题;每小题1分,满分10分) 1.B 2.A 3.D 4.B 5.C 6.D 7.A 8.C 9.D 10.A 第二部分 阅读理解(共15小题;每小题2分,满分30分) 11.D 12.C 13.D 14.D 15.C 16.A 17.B 18.B 19.D 20.D 21.B 22.D 23.A 24.B 25.C 第三部分 信息还原(共5小题;每小题1分,满分5分) 26.D 27.C 28.F 29.B 30.E 第四部分 词汇运用(共13小题;每小题1分,满分13分) 31. polite 32. hidden 33. insulates 34. spreading 35. Each piece, once placed correctly, contributes to a clearer picture of ourselves, revealing a more complex and multifaceted individual. For me, one crucial puzzle piece of growth was overcoming my fear of public speaking. In middle school, I was extremely shy and would avoid speaking in front of others at all costs. However, a school project required me to present in front of the entire class. It was a daunting task, but I knew I had to face my fear. With much practice and encouragement from my teachers and friends, I finally stood up and delivered my presentation.  This experience taught me that growth often involves stepping out of our comfort zones and facing our challenges head-on. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about embracing our imperfections and using them as stepping stones to become better versions of ourselves. ( 1 ) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
