It also has a monitoring function to detect the elderly’s health status and call for help in case of an emergency. Additionally, the robot can help the elderly with simple household chores such as cleaning and cooking, lightening their burden and improving their quality of life. I hope this robot can bring more warmth and convenience to the elderly and make their lives more comfortable. 第二节(满分25分) 【参考范文】 Para 1: After a moment of panic, Sheldon’s scientific mind took over. Noticing the low fence beside the steps, he quickly calculated the distance and the required throwing angle. He rolled the newspaper into a tight tube. With a precise underhand throw, he sent the paper sliding smoothly along the fence. It traveled in a perfect bend around the sleeping dog and came to rest right at the front door. A small smile appeared on his face as he continued his route, the crisis expertly solved through physics. Para 2:  Weeks later, “The Money Project” finally paid off. Sheldon placed his carefully saved money on the counter, receiving the long-wanted scientific tool. His mother’s eyes met his, shining with pride. As he held the tool, happiness filled him — not just for having it, but for earning it. This experience brought him a greater prize: strong belief in his own mind and the knowledge that some fortunes are earned not with money, but with effort and intellect. This was the real treasure, one that would only grow with time. ( 1 / 2 ) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $听力考试正式开始。Hey, Sally, let's do something fun this weekend. In fact, the first man made plastic was made over a hundred years ago. IT was discovered both by englishman and an american in the same year, but IT was the american who first developed IT on a large scale during the eighteen six. Everybody was excited by this new material because IT was so cheap, poor workers were able to buy plastic collars. These plastic collars were hard and uncomfortable, but they were easy to wash. The poor workers could clean them every evening with just soap and water. Poor mothers who had not been able to afford the toys for their children. We're now able to buy inexpensive ones made of plastic. However, plastic has one serious fault. Some kinds of plastic can catch fire very easily. And when they do, a poisonous gas is produced. What's worse, plastic takes a very long time to break down. So IT causes serious pollution. We now use the term White pollution to refer to plastic pollution. B Chen-Ning Yang, born in 1922 in Hefei, China, is a towering figure in the world of theoretical physics. His journey began in China, where he completed his undergraduate education at the National Southwestern Associated University, a unique institution formed during the Sino-Japanese War. In 1945, he moved to the United States on a scholarship and earned his Ph. D.from the University of Chicago. Yang’s most celebrated achievement came in 1956 when he and his colleague Tsung-Dao Lee proposed that in weak nuclear interactions, parity might not be conserved. This idea challenged a fundamental law of physics that was previously thought to be unbreakable. Their theoretical work was confirmed experimentally within a year, and in 1957, Yang and Lee were jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics, becoming the first Chinese laureates. This rapid recognition is rare in the history of science. Beyond the Nobel Prize, Yang’s contribution to physics is profound and lasting. Together with Robert Mills, he developed the Yang-Mills gauge theory, which became a cornerstone of the Standard Model of particle physics. This framework is essential for understanding the fundamental forces of the universe. Yang’s life is also a story of cultural bridge-building. After retiring from Stony Brook University in the U.S., he made a significant decision to return to China in 2003, resuming his Chinese citizenship later. He settled at Tsinghua University in Beijing, dedicating his efforts to advancing scientific research and education in his homeland. He played a crucial role in establishing the Center for Advanced Study at Tsinghua, guiding a new generation of Chinese physicists. Professor Yang is not only respected for his scientific brilliance but also for his deep cultural insight. He often emphasizes the importance of basic science and the harmonious integration of Eastern and Western scientific traditions. C A group of farmers in Nigeria are using a new method to grow crops from moisture (水汽) in the air. The method, known as aeroponics, does not use soil. Instead, plant roots hang in the air and take in nutrients from water mist. The method could make a big difference in places where huge amounts of land have been made unfarmable. Biochemist Samson Ogbole is popularly known as Nigeria’s smart farmer. He and his team are growing crops without soil at the technology-based farm they started three years ago in Abeokuta. Ogbole says they are working hard to end the seasonal food shortage in Nigeria. “It is just farming anytime during the year, meaning we can plant crops anytime during the year, and we can harvest anytime during the year.” But setting up the aeroponics farm was not easy. It required more than $180,000. And people in Abeokuta boycotted this nontraditional method of farming. It took a lot of effort to change those people’s minds about it. In fact, in Nigeria, about 30 million hectares of farmland is being used, instead of the 78.5 million hectares required for food security. In the north, only 49 percent of the land is fertile, a situation that worries traditional farmers. Aeroponics, however, does not require traditional farm work or much land. Nutrients for the plants are controlled by a recycling system, greatly increasing productivity. Dr. Phillip Ojo, Director-General of the National Agricultural Seeds Council, says the government welcomes the new farming method. Ojo notes that with aeroponics, farmers can quickly increase planting materials. The agricultural industry represents about 40 percent of Nigeria’s economy. The government wants to greatly expand this percentage. For now, most farmers lack the technical knowledge to increase productivity. They also need access to high-quality seeds to guarantee (保证) better harvests. Technologically skilled farmers like Samson Ogbole are offering a new way forward. 28.What can be known about aeroponics? A.It is not affected by the seasons. B.It helps crops draw nutrients from the soil. C.It will make the condition of the soil worse. D.It is aimed at bringing back farmland. 29.Why are Ogbole and his team working hard? A.To reduce the aeroponics farm. B.To end the seasonal food shortage in Nigeria. C.To get more support from other countries. D.To help the poor all over the world. 30.What does the underlined word “boycotted” mean in paragraph 3? A.Welcomed. B.Approved. C.Obtained. D.Resisted. 31.What is Dr. Phillip Ojo’s attitude to aeroponics? A.Doubtful. B.Unclear. C.Supportive. D.Opposed. D Imagine that you are in a crowded place. You do not notice, but someone is watching you and learns your iPhone password (密码). Then, they steal your phone. Suddenly, your photos, documents, financial information, and the rest of your digital life have been taken from you. Apple, the iPhone maker, recently released an update to its iOS operating system. It has a new feature called Stolen Device Protection (SDP). The feature makes it a lot harder for phone thieves to open the device and access important functions and settings. Apple says the feature adds extra security for users. It addresses a drawback that thieves have used to lock device owners out of their Apple accounts, delete their photos and other files from their iCloud, and take money from their bank accounts. SDP keeps track of a user’s “familiar locations”, such as their home or workplace. It also reduces the importance of passwords. Instead, it favors “biometric” (生物识别的) features such as faces or fingerprints, which are a lot harder to copy. If a thief tries to erase or reset an iPhone, the device will require a Face ID or Touch ID scan to confirm that the person is the rightful owner. The new feature does not let someone use the password or any other backup method. Another part of the new feature is designed to slow down thieves trying to change security settings. For example, if someone tries to sign out of an Apple ID account, change the password or reset the phone in an unfamiliar location, they will have to authenticate (证实) by using Face ID or Touch ID, wait an hour, and then do a second facial or fingerprint scan. Changing an Apple ID password, updating Apple ID security settings, adding or removing Face or Touch ID, and turning off the Find My device feature or Stolen Device Protection also will lead to this feature. 32.What is the function of paragraph 1? A.To remind readers to be cautious. B.To explain how password theft directly causes device loss. C.To set a phone-stealing scene. D.To introduce the following text. 33.What is special about SDP? A.It secures Apple accounts with remote locking. B.It prevents thieves from accessing bank accounts. C.It stops iCloud files from being deleted. D.It makes thieves not easy to enter the phone. 34.What does SDP require for resetting a stolen iPhone? A.An Apple ID account. B.Identity confirmation. C.Previous passwords. D.A new security setting. 35.What does the passage mainly talk about? A.Usage of biometric features. B.Apple’s iOS operating system. C.iPhone’s anti-theft measure. D.Apple ID security settings. 第二节(共5小题, 每小题2. 5分, 共12. 5分) 阅读下面短文, 从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Master body language in public speaking In public speaking, body language can make or break your presentation. Confident body language, like standing tall, helps you establish trust and connection with your audience. 36 When used correctly, body language becomes a powerful tool for strengthening interaction. So explore key techniques to improve your nonverbal communication skills in public speaking. Practice in front of a mirror. One of the most effective ways to improve body language is through self-observation. Practicing in front of a mirror allows you to observe your poses, facial expressions, and gestures in real time. 37 . Match body language with your speech for impact. Effective communication happens when your verbal messages perfectly match your nonverbal delivery. 38 When you’re delivering a message of enthusiasm, your facial expressions and gestures should reveal that energy. Similarly, calm body language helps project reliability when you’re speaking about a serious topic. This is crucial in building trust with your audience. 39 Pausing (停顿) at the right moment while speaking helps you manage your pace and avoid unnecessary words like “um” or “ah”, and can also strengthen your body language. For example, a pause before delivering a key point allows your facial expressions and gestures to attach significance to the message. It gives you time to make meaningful eye contact with your audience and allows them to process your words. Employ open gestures. 40 However, unnecessary or uncontrolled movements may cause distractions from your message. The key is to try to use open, purposeful gestures that feel natural and match your words. Open gestures, like uncrossed arms, palms up, and broad hand movements, signal openness, confidence, and warmth, helping your audience feel more comfortable. A.Focus on intentional movements. B.Make use of strategic short silence. C.You can use hand gestures to illustrate progress. D.Your body language should strengthen your speech. E.This makes you more aware of your body language patterns. F.Gestures do support communication by adding emphasis and clarity. G.By contrast, nervous habits like avoiding eye contact can distract listeners. 第三部分 语言运用(共两节, 满分30分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题1分, 共15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。 Last Sunday, my class went to visit the Yuan Longping Memorial Hall. We all knew Mr. Yuan was a great scientist who helped solve the food problem for many people. Our teacher told us to take notebooks to 41 important things we learned. When we arrived, a guide greeted us warmly. She took us to the first hall and showed us photos of Mr. Yuan. We saw him working in the fields—he always wore a simple hat and 42 clothes. The guide told us Mr. Yuan spent most of his life 43 hybrid rice. Even in his 80s, he still went to the fields every day to check the crops. Sometimes he would stay in the fields the whole 44 to watch how the rice grew. In another room, there were some of Mr. Yuan’s old things: a broken notebook, a used pen, and a pair of muddy shoes. The notebook was full of his 45 about rice research. I felt moved when I looked at these things—they showed how hard Mr. Yuan worked. A classmate of mine even took a photo of the notebook to 46 it. Then, we watched a short video. It told the story of how Mr. Yuan 47 hybrid rice. At first, many people thought it was impossible. Einstein was not only a genius; he was a 58 (courage) and kind figure loved by many people. This gentle genius was born in Germany on 14 March 1879. When he was 16, he tried to enter university in Switzerland, but failed due to his low scores in the general part of the entrance exam, 59 obtaining exceptional scores in maths and physics. After studying for another year, he managed to pass the exam, 60 (enter) university in 1896 and graduating in 1900. After two years of looking for work as a teacher, Einstein took a job as a clerk in the Swiss patent office. While working there, out of a strong passion for knowledge, he continued to study, earning a doctorate in physics in 1905. That same year, 61 was later recorded as a miracle year in science, he published four extraordinary physics papers. Following this, he 62 (gradual) became famous throughout the world as the new Isaac Newton. After four years, he was able to quit his job at the patent office and enter research full-time at a university. His favorite scientific tool had broken, and replacing it required a large amount of money. His mother politely said, “If you want it, you will have to earn it yourself.” So, Sheldon started what he called “The Money Project” — using science to do the everyday job of delivering newspapers. As he had planned, Sheldon’s method was special. He spent days doing research. He studied the weight of the newspaper, planned the best delivery route using maps, and even found the best throwing angle for each house. His planning board was covered in notes and drawings, looking more like a complex puzzle than a simple job plan. On his first Monday, he left home with his prepared basket. The first challenge appeared immediately: the family bicycle was too large for him. After three failed attempts to ride it, he decided to walk, pulling the basket of newspapers behind him. But the basket was so heavy that he soon felt too tired to continue. He quickly thought of a solution. Using an old board, four wheels from broken toys, and some rope, he built a simple homemade cart. Now he could pull the papers easily. Then, the weather, Sheldon had assumed clear weather, turned out different from his forecasts. A light rain began to fall. Sheldon immediately covered the newspaper basket with the plastic he had prepared. This simple action prevented what could have been a real problem. Despite these little episodes (小插曲), his first deliveries were perfect, and he felt pleased. The final challenge came at 17th Elm Street. His goal was the welcome mat, but a large, sleeping dog was lying right on top of it. Sheldon knew getting closer was too dangerous. From where he stood, he could not throw the paper properly. He stood still, his carefully made plan falling apart before this unexpected problem. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为150个左右; 2. 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 After a moment of panic, Sheldon’s scientific mind took over. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weeks later, “The Money Project” finally paid off. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试题 第3页(共12页) 试题 第4页(共12页) 试题 第1页(共12页) 试题 第2页(共12页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2025-2026学年高二上学期期末模拟卷01(人教版) 英语·全解全析 (考试时间:120分钟 试卷满分:150分) 考生注意: 1. 1.What will the speakers do this weekend? A.They didn’t wear out easily. B.They were easy to wash. C.They were comfortable. 19.Why were the plastic toys a good idea for some mothers? A.They were colorful. B.They were cheap. C.Kids preferred them. 20.What is talked about at the end of the speech? A.The excitement caused by plastic. B.Different uses of plastic. C.The harmful side of plastic. 【答案】17.C 18.B 19.B 20.C 【原文】 The history of plastic is no longer than you might expect. In fact, the first man-made plastic was made over a hundred years ago. It was discovered both by an Englishman and an American in the same year, but it was the American who first developed it on a large scale during the 1860s. Everybody was excited by this new material because it was so cheap. Poor workers were able to buy plastic collars. These plastic collars were hard and uncomfortable, but they were easy to wash. The poor workers could clean them every evening with just soap and water. Poor mothers, who had not been able to afford toys for their children, were now able to buy inexpensive ones made of plastic. However, plastic has one serious fault. Some kinds of plastic can catch fire very easily, and when they do, a poisonous gas is produced. What’s worse, plastic takes a very long time to break down so it causes serious pollution. We now use the term “white pollution” to refer to plastic pollution. A Four Excellent Museums for Kids to Explore An injection of knowledge, Leeds The Thackray Museum of Medicine in Leeds is giving a huge makeover recently. His life and work truly serve as a bridge connecting different cultures and eras. 24.What was the significance of the theory proposed by Yang and Lee? A.It explained the structure of the atom. D.Opposed. 根据第二段中的“It is just farming anytime during the year, meaning we can plant crops anytime during the year, and we can harvest anytime during the year.(这意味着一年中的任何时候都可以耕种,我们可以在一年中的任何时候种植作物,也可以在任何时候收获。)”可知,气培法不受季节影响。故选A项。 29.细节理解题。根据第二段中的“Ogbole says they are working hard to end the seasonal food shortage in Nigeria.(Ogbole说,他们正在努力结束尼日利亚的季节性粮食短缺问题。)”可知,Ogbole和他的团队努力的目标是终结尼日利亚的季节性粮食短缺。故选B项。 30.词句猜测题。根据第三段划线词后文“It took a lot of effort to change those people’s minds about it.(花了很大的努力才改变了那些人的看法。)”可推知,当地民众最初对这种非传统种植方式是抵触的,因此“boycotted”意为“抵制”。故选D项。 31.推理判断题。根据第四段中的“Dr. Phillip Ojo... says the government welcomes the new farming method. 【答案】32.D 33.D 34.B 35.C 【导语】本文是一篇说明文,主要讲述了苹果公司发布的一项名为失窃设备保护(SDP)的新功能,帮助保障设备在被盗后的信息安全。 32.推理判断题。根据第一段“Imagine that you are in a crowded place. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】     After a moment of panic, Sheldon’s scientific mind took over. Weeks later, “The Money Project” finally paid off. 词汇激活 行为类 ①注意到,看到:notice/spot/catch sight of ②平稳滑行:sliding smoothly/gliding smoothly ③闪烁,闪耀:shine with pride/sparkle with pride ④放置:place/put/lay 情绪类 ①微笑:A small smile appeared on his face./A faint smile crept onto his face. ②高兴:happiness filled him/he was overwhelmed with happiness 【点睛】【高分句型1】Noticing the low fence beside the steps, he quickly calculated the distance and the required throwing angle. His life and work truly serve as a bridge connecting different cultures and eras. 24.What was the significance of the theory proposed by Yang and Lee? A.It explained the structure of the atom. B.It was confirmed after many decades of experimentation. C.It challenged a previously accepted law of physics. D.It was the foundation for the Yang-Mills theory. 25.Which of the following best describes Chen-Ning Yang’s character as portrayed in the passage? A.A solitary genius who preferred to work alone. B.A politician who used his fame for diplomatic purposes. C.A businessman who applied science to practical applications. D.A figure with global vision and a sense of responsibility to his homeland. 26.What is the main idea of the passage? A.The life and multifaceted contributions of Chen-Ning Yang. B.The long and successful career of Yang in the United States. C.The fierce competition between Yang and Lee for the Nobel Prize. D.The technical details of the parity non-conservation theory. 27.What can we infer about Yang from his decision to return to China? A.He wanted to enjoy a more relaxed retirement life. B.He felt a strong commitment to contributing to China’s scientific development. C.He lost his interest in theoretical physics. D.He planned to start a new business in his home country. (共10小题;每小题1. 5分, 满分15分) Albert Einstein, who is perhaps the greatest scientist in modern physics, is often considered one of the smartest men who ever lived. He made numerous 56 (contribution) to the world, the most well-known 57 (be) the general theory of relativity and the famous formula E=mc2. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ( 9 / 12 ) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
