What have you learned? What do you like best? 3.Ask the students to role⁃play the conversation in 2d. Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Write “I remember...” and some expressions on the blackboard. 2.Ask the students to read the poem and get the students to add more things about “I remember...” in the poem. 3.Ask the students to read aloud the poem and answer the questions in 3a.Get them to know the main subject of the poem is remembering life in junior high school,and the writer is a student who is going to graduate. Step 3 Work on 3b-3c 1.Let the students read the poem again and tell the students to pay attention to the words that have the same rhyme. 2.Let the students write the words in 3b on their own. 3.Check the answers.Get the students to read aloud the words. 4.Read the instructions in 3c.Get the students to feel the things about themselves.Then read the poem and discuss the writer’s feelings with the class. Step 4 Work on Grammar Focus 1.Get the students to read aloud the sentences in the Grammar Focus until fluently.Make them think about the tenses and the structures:have done,will+do,be going to+do,remember+doing,look forward to+doing. 2.Ask the students to make some sentences with the structures. 3.Give some exercises.Practice with the students. Step 5 Work on 4a 1.Let the students read the sentences quickly and get the main idea. 2.Get the students to put these sentences in the correct order and think:Is there a time line?What is the time line? 3.Check the answers. 4.Ask some students to read aloud the paragraph.
