第五课时 Section B (3a-Self Check) ◇目标导航◇ 类别 课时要点 重点句型 1.How did you feel about this day?你感觉今天怎么样? 2.What a lucky/an unlucky day!多么幸运/不幸的一天啊! 教学重点 1.让学生能够使用所给的词汇完成对课文的复述。 2.让学生能够使用所学的目标句型完成写作练习。 3.让学生能够运用所学的知识叙述自己的某一次经历。 4.让学生能够总结、归纳重点词汇及句型,进一步了解过去完成时。 教学难点 1.提高学生的写作技能,培养学生利用关键信息进行写作的能力。 2.培养学生的阅读能力及理解关键词和短语的能力。 ◇教学过程◇ 预习指导 一、方法指导 1.预习Page 95~96上3a和3b中的内容。 2.预习并试做Self Check。 二、预习检测 根据句意用所给动词的适当形式填空 1.By the end of last year,I had been (be) to the West Hill Farm three times.  2.By the time I got up,Mom had gone (go) out for some exercise.  3.I had learned/learnt (learn) 1,000 English words by last term.  4.By 9 o’clock last night,we had gotten/got (get) 200 pictures from the spaceship.  5.When I went into the classroom,the final bell hadn’t rung (ring).I was happy that I wasn’t late.  课堂教学 Step 1 Leading in 1.Greeting. 2.Let the students make sentences with past perfect tense.And then ask some students to share their sentences. Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Read the instructions and the main contents in 3a.Ask several students to tell about their luckiest/unluckiest day. 2.Get the students to write down their details in the chart. 3.Ask the students to say out their stories using the details they have written in the chart. Step 3 Work on 3b 1.Read the key points in 3b. 2.Ask the students to write their stories on their own. 3.Let them exchange their writing work with their partners to learn from each other and help each other. 4.Check their work with the whole class.Get three of the students to read aloud their stories. Step 4 Work on Self Check 1.Finish Self Check 1 (1)Teach the class to finish the task in this way: First,read through the passage and get the main idea of it.Next,choose the words according to the context.Pay attention to the word forms.Then,read the passage again and check the meaning and the spelling. (2)Let the students fill in the blanks on their own. (3)Ask the students to check and correct the work with each other in pairs. (4)Show the results on PPT and let the students read aloud the passage. 2.Finish Self Check 2 (1)Ask the students to think of ways to finish the answers on their own and then share in the groups.
