Step 2 Work on 2a-2b
1.Ask the students to work in groups to ask and answer:Have you ever made a mistake?What was it?How did it make you feel?
2.Let the students read the sentences after the passage in 2b.Try to put them in the correct order.Then read the passage quickly and see if the order is right.Do not spend too much time on the new words at this stage.
3.Check the answers.
4.Let the students read the passage in 2b carefully and try to find the main idea.Explain the main grammar points.
Step 3 Work on 2c
1.Ask the students to read the passage again and answer the questions in 2c.
2.Ask some students to share their answers and check the answers in class.
Step 4 Work on 2d
1.Discuss the reading strategy of the unit with the students.Explain idioms and phrases and how important they are in learning.
