1、 教材分析
本单元紧扣“Festivals and Celebrations”主题,介绍多种节日的起源、意义与庆祝方式,包含春节、圣诞节等传统及现代特色节日,助力学生了解文化多样性,增强跨文化交际意识。在语言知识上,有丰富的节日相关词汇、短语和句式,还涉及常用时态在节日描述中的运用,利于语言积累与表达提升。通过说明文、记叙文等不同体裁文本阅读,培养学生获取细节、理解主旨、推断隐含意义等阅读技能,提升逻辑和批判性思维。此外,教材展现多元文化,促进文化包容理解,树立正确文化观,激发对本国传统文化的热爱与传承意识。
2、 学情分析
明强中学高一学生此前英语学习积累了一定词汇和基本语法,熟悉常见节日,能进行简单节日话题交流,为单元学习打下基础。但学生学习能力参差不齐,部分自主学习能力强,能拓展阅读,部分则在词汇、阅读、表达上有困难,需分层教学和个性化指导。多数学生对节日话题感兴趣,乐于分享经历感受,利于课堂互动,不过对抽象文化背景易觉枯燥,需教师用多样手段激发兴趣。在跨文化意识方面,虽部分学生对西方节日有所了解,但对文化深层内涵理解不足,跨文化交际易误解,教学中需注重对比中外节日文化,培养跨文化意识与交际能力。
