C. Answer the question(根据短文内容回答问题)
Imagine taking a flying taxi to the airport, or jumping over crowded city streets at rush hour, getting where you want to go far faster than you could in a car. Believe it or not, you might be able to do these things in an air taxi sooner than you think.
An air taxi is something like a helicopter that can carry people from place to place. Air taxis don't need a long runway like planes do. They can go straight up and down.
In June, the government of America agreed to allow a company called Joby Aviation to start testing their new air taxi. This is the first time they've tested a taxi that's been built in a factory. Before that, all their taxis were made by hand.
By 2025, Joby hopes to start carrying passengers for money. They've teamed up with Delta Air Lines to create a programme to fly people from their homes to the airport. Joby's air taxis will be flown by a pilot, and can carry four other passengers.
Compared with helicopters, Joby says their air taxis are both quieter and cheaper. The company expects to charge about $3 a mile at first. But over time, they hope to bring the price down to less than $1 a mile.
Every coin has two sides. Some people have worries about them. The air taxis may be quieter than helicopters, but they’ll still be adding noise and traffic to our skies. What's more, . It seems likely that air taxis will be part of the future of travel. But there's still a lot to do before air taxis become common.
1. What's an air taxi?
2. Air taxis don't need a long runway like planes do, do they?
3. How were Joby Aviation's air taxis made before being built in a factory?
4. How can Joby Aviation earn money with air taxis?
5. What are the advantages of air taxis compared with helicopters?
6. Can you think of another disadvantage of air taxis? (Please fill in the blank in the last paragraph.)

A recent report from a United Nations group warns that using technology in classrooms may not be as helpful as many people think. The report suggests that schools should limit the use of technology, and smartphones should not be allowed during class time.
These days, it is very common for students to use devices like computers, tablets or smartphones. In many schools, students are encouraged to search for information online instead of looking through books. Technology is everywhere, and it seems to make learning faster and easier.
However, the UN group points out that technology can also have problems. It finds that technology can sometimes distract students rather than help them focus. One study carried out in 14different countries showed that even when a smartphone is just sitting nearby, it can affect a student’ s ability to learn. Despite this, fewer than 25% of countries worldwide ban smartphones in schools.
The report suggests that the best way for students to learn is working closely with teachers and classmates, rather than depending too much on technology.

Have you ever heard of any festivals for animals? Usually in October or November there is a unique festival called the Pushkar Camel Fair in India. The fair can be divided into two parts. The first part is a farm animal market where people trade camels, cows, sheep and some other animals. The second part is a carnival that has local food, entertainment and open-air markets to suit all tastes.
Of course, the main characters are the camels. Visitors get a chance to see the camels at their best, because there are competitions for them, including races, beauty competitions and tests on strength. People aren't left out, either. Men can take part in a mustache competition, while women can dress up for a桥al competition. Both women and men can also compete in rounds of the tug- of-war and many other events.

Digital technology has changed my life
Thanks to digital technology, my life has become quite different.
In the past, when I wanted to look up for some information, I would spend hours at the library flipping through books and magazines. I also had to go to stores to buy daily necessities and then carry heavy bags of them home every week.
Now, everything has changed. I have an e-reader that holds thousands of books and I can download more from online if necessary. There are even some AI tools that can help me understand those thick books easily. What's more, with a smartphone, online shopping has replaced many of my trips to the store. I now pay bills or order food with just a few taps on my screen. And everything will be sent home by delivery people.
In conclusion, digital technology has changed the way I learn, shop and live, which makes my life more convenient and efficient.
