教学目标
1. 在单元主题图的帮助下,通过模仿跟读等活动认读核心词汇,掌握歌曲的韵律与含义,初步感知单元主题;
2. 在看、听、说、读的活动中梳理每天的天气,理解习语的含义和故事的幽默之处;

学情分析
课语篇是译林版四年级上册Unit 6的Cartoon time部分,标题为《A Rainy Day》。这是一个幽默的连环画故事,讲述了主人公Bobby想要一辆红色玩具车,他的爸爸告诉他“Save your money for a rainy day.”(把钱存起来,未雨绸缪)。Bobby天真地误解了这句话的字面意思,于是每天关注天气,盼望着下雨天(a rainy day)的到来,以便可以买车。
小学四年级学生已掌握基础词汇和简单句型,但分化现象开始显现,且普遍存在“认读强于输出”“兴趣高于坚持”的特点,且对这句谚语不那么容易理解,所以在教学设计过程中更多考虑学生的学习兴趣。。

教师示范:
T: Look at my design! (教师展示自己画的“Ice-cream Snow”) I design Ice-cream Snow! It's sweet and cold! We can eat the snow and build ice-cream castles! Wow!
学生创作与分享:
T: Now, it's your turn! Draw your magical weather on your design card. Then, tell your partner and the class.

教学反思:兴趣是最好的老师,兴趣是推动学生英语学习的最佳动力,本节英语课中,我为学生创设一个轻松愉悦的氛围船长探险的情境,发挥学生的主体地位,关注个性差异,培养学生的学习兴趣,提高学生的英语学习能力。在学习 Save your money for a rainy day.这句谚语时,我采用AI机器人,让他来帮大家解释这个谚语,与现代科技相结合。在课堂的最后我充分发挥学生的想象力,创造不一样的天气,如巧克力雨等,给孩子们梦幻般的感觉。此过程中,学生能够体会到语言输出的成就感,获得英语学习的动力,增强英语表达的自信心。同时在单元主题意境下孩子们基本能够正确表述天气,能够简单说出在不同天气所做的事情。
