When it comes to Chengdu, people may think of its delicious food and interesting places. These days, a hot pot-themed (火锅主题的) bus has creatively combined (结合) these things.
The bus first appeared in Chengdu in May 2022. It gives a new experience to both locals (当地人) and travellers in Chengdu. People can not only eat hot pot on the bus but also enjoy the beauty of Chengdu along the way. There is also a guide talking about the culture of hot pot and the stories of the places of interest. You may have seen many pumpkins (南瓜) in posters and TV shows recently, since Halloween came on Oct 31.
Lanterns (灯笼) made of pumpkins are often seen during Halloween. Many people in the US like to make them and put them in front of their houses. People hollow out (挖空) a pumpkin, carve (雕刻) a face on one side, and place a candle inside to make the pumpkin glow. The lanterns can look funny or scary.
