单元主题:
本单元是沪教版六年级上册英语第四模块第十二单元, 本单元属于“The natural world”主题,该单元主题范畴属于“人与自然”,涉及“自然生态与环境保护”主题群,子主题内容为“人与自然相互依存,绿色生活的理念和行为”。单元内容围绕“The Earth”展开,通过对话和短文等语篇,引导学生了解地球现状、环境污染原因以及如何保护环境,树立关爱地球、保护地球的思想,体现了“保护环境,从我做起”的主题意义。
课标分析:
本单元内容契合新课标对小学高段“能围绕熟悉话题进行简单交流与书面输出”的语言水平要求,主题选择符合学段对自然生态的认知范围,通过“学语言—懂环保—践行动”的设计,落实“学用结合、学以致用”的课标理念,助力学生在语言学习中发展环保素养。
教材分析:
本套教材是以模块(Module)为单位组织教学内容,模块内的语言材料围绕一个主题展开;各模块包含三个单元(Unit),每个单元集中讨论该主题下的一个具体话题。教材各模块之间互相补充,互相配合,保证语言知识和语言技能螺旋式上升;同一模块主题在不同年级循环出现,保证教学内容复现和循环。
本课时是六年级上册第四模块第十二单元的第一课时,由Look and learn和Listen and say两部分组成 , Look and learn是对重点词汇的学习,Listen and say呈现了郭老师与学生讨论地球现状和如何保护地球的场景。引导学生结合视频图片以及实际情况对本课内容进行理解,两部分内容衔接紧密,过渡自然。
学情分析:
本单元的教学对象为六年级的学生。六年级学生性格活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,有着极强的求知欲和表现欲。经过三年的英语学习和积累,学生们已经接触过动词过去式的表达以及We should …句型的用法,为本单元的学习打下了一定的语法基础,所以本单元在强调过去式用法的同时进一步注重学生的语言实践应用能力,让学生在学习新句型We should stop…(doing)用法的同时,来讨论如何保护地球。
单元设计整体思路和依据
单元教学安排(课时、内容)
1、语言知识目标:
(1)能在语境中正确运用本单元核心词汇:
Earth,part ,forest ,land,ocean ,rubbish ,sick, so many ,pick up
(2)能用We should...(do),We should stop...(doing)提出保护环境的建议。
①We should stop throwing rubbish into rivers.②We should stop cutting down so many trees.③We should stop using plastic bags.
(3)、对语音学习进行梳理和复习。
2、语言技能目标:
(1)能写几句话说明保护环境应采取的措施;能通过观察、对话等方式,运用英语清晰描述地 球的特征及环境问题,提升英语听说读写的综合语言运用能力。
(2)能结合语篇内容,自主思考并阐述更多保护地球的行动,培养问题分析与解决能力。
3、情感态度目标:
树立保护地球的环保意识,认识到个人行为对地球环境的影响,激发参与环保行动的责任感。培养关注地球生态、可持续发展的价值观,乐于在生活中践行环保行为。
4.学习策略目标:
(1)在学习中积极思考,主动探究,善于发现语言的规律并能运用规律举一反三。
(2)积极探索适合自己的英语学习方法。
5.文化意识目标:
知道世界地球日是一个专为世界环境保护而设立的节日,了解地球日有哪些活动。
单元目标
课时语篇分析
What: 本语篇是一段课堂对话,围绕地球展开,介绍了地球的组成(绿色和棕色部分是森林和陆地,蓝色部分是海洋),对比了地球过去的清洁美丽和现在部分区域的脏乱,还探讨了保护地球的具体做法,如停止向河流扔垃圾、停止大量砍伐树木、停止使用塑料袋等。
Why: 目的是让学习者认识地球的结构和环境现状,了解地球面临的污染问题,从而树立环保意识,明确自己可以为保护地球采取的行动,推动环保行为的践行。
How :以课堂对话的形式,通过师生问答的方式,先识别地球并分析其组成,再对比地球环境变化引发思考,最后引导出保护地球的具体行动建议,逻辑清晰地传递了地球认知和环保理念。
