Pair Work
Have you ever watched a film that is adapted from a book? Which one do you think is better, the original book or the film made from it? Why?
Example: I watched the "Harry Potter" movies, which are adapted from J.K. Rowling's books. I think the original book is often better because it has more details about characters' thoughts and feelings. The movie is great too—it brings the story to life with music, pictures, and acting. But sometimes, movies leave out small parts from the book that I miss. So, both are good, but the book lets me imagine the story in my own way!

Example: Yes, I’ve watched The Wandering Earth, a film from Liu Cixin’s story. The book is rich in ideas about survival and loss/sacrifice, while the film shines with amazing visuals and emotional family moments. Both are great—books feed imagination, films bring stories to life!
