目的状语从句 目的状语从句表示目的,从句中常用情态动词如may/might/will/would/shall/should/can/could等 (1)so that & in order that so that意为 “ 以便、为了”,常置于句尾;in order that意为“为了”,放于句尾或句首 He got up early so that he could catch the early bus. 他早早起床,以便赶上早班车 The teacher spoke slowly in order that we could follow her. 为了我们能够跟上她,老师讲得很慢 (2)目的状语从句的简化 当从句主语与主句主语一致时,可用 so as to, in order to表目的 He worked day and night in order that he could succeed.
