My first resolution is to improve my tennis skills. I fell in love with this sport in October when I watched a professional match. After that I took a few tennis lessons, but I still can’t consistently hit the ball. Next year, I will practise three times a week, aiming to master basic forehand and backhand techniques. I’ll also try to find more tennis partners for regular practice. My second resolution is to improve my spoken English. While my reading and writing skills are good, speaking is still my weakness. I have decided to watch more English-speaking TV shows without subtitles. Though challenging, this will help me learn more about natural speech. My third resolution is to improve my cooking. In Unit 3, I learned about some simple dishes and successfully cooked them myself. I have more confidence in cooking now.
