参考范文
Dear Sir/Madam,
As a student who deeply loves our city, I would like to recommend three name cards of our city.
Firstly, the Jialing River is the source of life and the green heart of the city. Its clean water helps crops grow, while the riverside parks provide beautiful natural spaces to people. This shows how cities can grow with green development.
Secondly, silk culture is the historical pride of Nanchong. For over 2,000 years, workers in Gaoping have used old-style machines to make beautiful silk. This skill not only saves ancient knowledge but also creates jobs today, connecting past and present perfectly.
Finally, Langzhong Ancient City brings history alive. Visitors can explore General Zhang Fei’s tomb and try on Han-style clothes, making history learning fun.
Together, they paint Nanchong as a place where history meets modern life.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua

This summer, my parents took my brother and me on the coolest vacation ever! We visited three amazing places. Let me tell you all about our trips.
First, we flew to Egypt. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the pyramids. They’re much bigger in real life than in pictures! Rongchang, a small city in Chongqing, has become well-known around the world because of its traditional food, Rongchang Braised Goose (荣昌烤鹅). This all started with Lin Jiang, a 48-year-old man from the local area. He followed an international livestreamer named “IShowSpeed” (甲亢哥) through five different cities. His goal was to share his hometown’s special dish. Lin wore a bright red flowery coat and shouted “Rongchang braised goose!” in easy English. His funny and sincere actions made millions of people like him online. One video of him got 120 million views, and the dish became very popular all over the world.
The local government quickly helped Lin. They made him the “Chief Ambassador” of Rongchang Braised Goose and gave him 100,000 yuan as a reward. They also worked on making sure the food was safe. During holidays such as May Day, the government opened its cafeteria. There, tourists could eat cheap local dishes, including the famous braised goose. This summer, my parents took my brother and me on the coolest vacation ever! We visited three amazing places. Let me tell you all about our trips.
First, we flew to Egypt. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the pyramids. They’re much bigger in real life than in pictures! Our guide Ahmed told us stories about how they were built thousands of years ago. The best part was when we were on a small sailboat at sunset and ate delicious Egyptian food with a local family. They taught us how to make pita bread, which was really fun and tasty!
After Egypt, we went to Norway. This place was like something from a fairy tale! The train ride through the mountains was so beautiful, with waterfalls everywhere. At the Viking village, we put up dressing up clothes and tried throwing snow balls, which made us all laugh.
Our last stop was Indonesia, which was my favorite. We stayed on a wooden boat and went swimming every day. The fish were so colorful! One day we saw a big group of fish swimming right below us. They looked like underwater birds. At night, an artist taught us how to paint the sunset over the ocean.
▲ I learned that history can be exciting when you see it in person. I also learned how important it is to protect nature. But most of all, I learned that trips are the most fun when you’re with people you love.
If I could, I would go back to all these places tomorrow! Maybe next summer we'll visit Costa Rica to see the rainforest. Would you like to come and join us?
