第一讲 读后续写先读懂——“读什么”
读后续写语篇一般是350词左右的记叙文,多用过去时态。学生在考试中往往感觉读后续写时间不够用,多是因为阅读速度太慢、理解不准确、抓不住重点等原因,给后续写作造成障碍,难以写出合格的文章。本节就阅读时如何快速掌握重要信息、梳理情节,向学生们介绍了以下几个微技能:
微技能一 标注六大要素
记叙文是以记人、叙事为主,阅读语篇时重点关注文本的六大要素,即5W1H(who,when,where,what,why和how)。梳理所给文本的主要内容,即人物、时间、地点、事件起因、经过和结果,为续写的情节构思提供依据与方向。需要注意的是,不一定每篇文章都包含这六个要素,所以当无法找全这六要素时不要纠结,阅读中应快速列出已找出的要素,梳理出原文本的故事情节。
微技能二 串联时空顺序
读后续写的文本故事性很强,一般都会由一系列小情节构成,每个情节就是不同时间、不同空间下人物的具体活动,因此,学生可以根据时间、地点的变化来梳理原文本的故事情节。
微技能三 确定情感基调
情感基调指文章的感情色彩,即作者表达的情感态度,如:是幽默诙谐还是沉闷、是欢快愉悦还是伤感、是积极向上还是消沉。确定情感基调也就把握了原文人物的性格特征,这样续写人物的心理情感才不会跑偏,

微技能四 厘清人物关系
读后续写中有时会涉及含有人物关系较为复杂的语篇,这时厘清人物关系就很关键,这可以帮助学生更加合理地预设文中人物的后续行为,从而让续写情节更加合理。边读原文边画出人物关系图,可以帮助学生快速清晰地了解文中人物之间的关系,为续写服务。
微技能五 分析矛盾冲突
读后续写记叙文原文本中大多会有一个矛盾冲突点,续写的内容就是顺着矛盾冲突的发展脉络,找到解决矛盾冲突点的过程。因此,明确矛盾冲突点是非常重要的。矛盾冲突点主要体现在人物所想达到的目的与目前阻碍其达到这一目的的因素上。续写的大方向就是通过提供清除障碍、达成目标的方式和方法解决这一矛盾冲突。

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
I met Gunter on a cold, wet and unforgettable evening in September.I had planned to fly to Vienna and take a bus to Prague for a conference.Due to a big storm, my flight had been delayed by an hour and a half.I touched down in Vienna just 30 minutes before the departure of the last bus to Prague.The moment I got off the plane, I ran like crazy through the airport building and jumped into the first taxi on the rank without a second thought.
That was when I met Gunter.I told him where I was going, but he said he hadn’t heard of the bus station.I thought my pronunciation was the problem, so I explained again more slowly, but he still looked confused.When I was about to give up, Gunter fished out his little phone and rang up a friend.After a heated discussion that lasted for what seemed like a century, Gunter put his phone down and started the car.
Finally, with just two minutes to spare we rolled into the bus station.Thankfully, there was a long queue (队列) still waiting to board the bus.Gunter parked the taxi behind the bus, turned around, and looked at me with a big smile on his face.“We made it,” he said.
Just then I realised that I had zero cash in my wallet.I flashed him an apologetic smile as I pulled out my Portuguese bankcard.He tried it several times, but the card machine just did not play along.A feeling of helplessness washed over me as I saw the bus queue thinning out.
At this moment, Gunter pointed towards the waiting hall of the bus station.There, at the entrance, was a cash machine.I jumped out of the car, made a mad run for the machine, and popped my card in, only to read the message:“Out of order.Sorry.”

2.串联时空顺序
作者飞机降落晚点,但第一时间乘上了出租车→出租车司机不认识路,他及时打电话咨询了朋友→出租车提前两分钟到达公交车站,但作者发现很多人在排队上车→出租车司机把车停在公交车后面,作者发现身上没现金支付车费→作者掏出银行卡,司机尝试后发现银行卡机无法使用→司机在公交车站入口发现提款机,但作者发现提款机出故障。
3.确定情感基调
(1)根据第一段ran like crazy, jumped into, without a second thought可以得知,作者由于飞机晚点而造成了焦虑和急躁的情绪。
(2)第二段中作者和出租车司机交流中出现问题,根据was about to give up,what seemed like a century可以看出,作者的情感基调转变为无助和接近绝望。还好,司机及时解决了问题,顺利到达了公交车站。从第三段中Thankfully可以看出,作者的情绪得到了很大的缓解,感到万幸。
(3)在支付出租车费用时,作者发现自己身上没有现金,情感是apologetic,感到抱歉。接下来作者掏出银行卡,但银行卡机无法使用,从a feeling of helplessness可以看出,作者的情绪再次变为无助。在司机发现提款机后,从作者jumped out of,made a mad run,popped,only to read等动作可以看出,作者的情绪又变得焦虑和急躁。
4.厘清人物关系
(1)My flight had been delayed, but I in time jumped into the first taxi and met the taxi driver Gunter.
(2)Gunter hadn’t heard of the bus station I was bound for, so he rang up a friend for help.
5.分析矛盾冲突
原文中展示的矛盾有三个:第一个是作者飞机晚点,仅在最后要乘坐的公交车离开前半小时降落,但幸好作者第一时间坐上了去往公交车站的出租车,第一个矛盾在原文中解决。第二个矛盾是出租车司机不知道去往公交车站的路线,但他及时寻求朋友帮助并得到答案,顺利将作者送到公交车站,第二个矛盾也在原文中得到解决。第三个矛盾出现在作者支付出租车费用时发现身上没有现金,而且由于银行卡机和附近的提款机都出现故障导致银行卡无法正常使用。这一矛盾在原文中没有得到解决,而且将故事推向了高潮。这个矛盾如何解决、在解决过程中作者又会出现什么情感上的变化是续写内容的关键。

I ran back to Gunter and told him the bad news.“Sorry, I can’t take cash out.” I said embarrassedly, with my face burning.Hearing my words, Gunter replied with the familiar smile on his face, “That’s OK; just go ahead; you can pay me at your convenience.” So surprised and moved was I that I couldn’t say a word out.I took out my notebook, asked Gunter’s number and wrote it down hurriedly, promising I would call him back.Then I made a mad run for the bus and left.
Four days later, when I was back in Vienna, I called Gunter as promised.The moment Gunter picked up the phone, he seemed to know I was going to call.“I know it’s you,” he said softly.As we met the following day at the departure place, I expressed my great gratitude to him.I paid him back and offered an extra $10 tip; however, he refused the tip, saying “It is not a big deal.” Suddenly, a warm current washed over me.It was at that time that I felt blessed to have met such a warm-hearted man like Gunter who has a heart of gold.
