Ⅴ 阅读
Last summer, I went to a beautiful beach with my family. When I dived into the sea, I expected to see colorful fish and clean water. However, what I saw instead scared me. The water was filled with plastic bags, bottles, and other waste. Many fish were trapped (困住) in the trash, struggling (努力) to survive. It was an awful sight that made me realize how serious environmental problems are.
作业1 课内落实作业
These problems are not just happening in the ocean. Around the world, many species are facing extinction because of pollution, deforestation (乱砍滥伐), and climate change. Scientists have targeted these issues for years, but the situation is still getting worse. We cut down trees for paper and land, and factories pour harmful chemicals into rivers and the air. If we keep this attitude, our planet will be in great danger.
Fortunately, more people are starting to understand the importance of protecting the environment. Some communities organize cleanup events to remove trash from beaches and rivers. Others choose to use reusable products instead of plastic ones. These small actions can make a big difference.
作业1 课内落实作业
We all need to change our attitude and take action. Whether it's recycling, saving water, or using less energy, every little bit helps. Let's not wait until it's too late. Our planet is in crisis, and it's time for us to dive into action to protect it before it's too late.

In July 2017, Hoh Xil became a World Heritage site and there live more than 70,000 Tibetan antelopes. Every year, pregnant Tibetan antelopes migrate to Hoh Xil between the end of May and early June to give birth and leave with their children around August. Zonag Lake at the heart of Hoh Xil is known as the “delivery room” for the species.
About 40 female Tibetan antelopes with three young were spotted crossing the QinghaiTibet Railway on Saturday. Experts say that in recent years, the number of young Tibetan antelopes among the migrating groups accounts for between a fifth and a quarter of the population.

“In the early stage of migration, Tibetan antelopes face a high risk of falling prey to poachers (偷猎者) so the number of young Tibetan antelopes is relatively small, and there may even be none,” said Lian Xinming, an associate research fellow at Northwest Institute of Plateau Biology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
According to research, the number of Tibetan antelopes that migrate back has been rising. “This year's migration season is expected to finish in early September. The population is expected to continue to increase,” Lian said.
Tibetan antelopes are mostly found in Tibet Autonomous Region, Qinghai Province, and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The species is under firstclass state protection in China.

In the 1980s, the Tibetan antelope population declined sharply from 200,000 to 20,000, due to illegal hunting. It has recovered thanks to the country's efforts to improve its habitat and crack down on poaching.
To make sure the species go back to their habitats safe and sound, the reserve's management bureau has staff monitor their migration. When they come over in large groups, they temporarily close some sections of the road to make way for the animals and prevent them from having interactions with humans.
