1.附加疑问句由两部分组成:前一部分是陈述句式,后一部分是疑问句式,两者用逗号隔开。
2.附加疑问句一般是前肯定后否定,或者前否定后肯定。
3.附加疑问句又称反意疑问句。附加疑问部分的句式是:助动词/情态动词/be动词+主语,其中的主语必须用代词。
NO.1 附加疑问句的形式
1.肯定式陈述部分+否定附加疑问部分
That’s an interesting book,isn’t it?
那是一本有趣的书,不是吗?
2.否定式陈述部分+肯定附加疑问部分
He didn’t finish his homework yesterday,did he?
他昨天没做完家庭作业,是吗?
3.肯定的祈使句+will you/won’t you?

4.否定的祈使句+will you?

5.Let’s开头的祈使句,其附加疑问部分用“shall we”;Let us开头的祈使句,其附加疑问部分用“will you”。

6.感叹句的附加疑问部分一律用否定式,且要用be的一般现在时。

温馨提示 附加疑问部分的读法
陈述部分一般用降调,而附加疑问部分既可用升调也可用降调,但含义有所不同。通常情况下,用升调时,多表示疑问或请求;用降调时,多表示求证或希望对方同意。如:
She is not a painter,↗is she?
她不是画家,是吗?(表示疑问)
You don’t agree with her,↘do you?
你不同意她,是吗?(希望对方同意)

NO.2 附加疑问句的特殊情况
1.陈述部分有no,nothing,nor,never,few,seldom,hardly,rarely,little等表示否定意义的词时,附加疑问部分一般用肯定形式。
Eric made no answer,did he?
埃里克没有答复,是吗?
2.陈述部分含有带否定前缀的词不影响附加疑问部分的形式。
It is impossible,isn’t it?
那是不可能的,不是吗?
3.陈述部分的主语是everything,anything,nothing,this,that等时,附加疑问部分的主语用it。
Everything is ready,isn’t it?
一切都准备好了,是吗?
4.陈述部分的主语是everybody,anyone,somebody,nobody,no one,these,those等时,附加疑问部分的主语常用they。
Everyone knows the answer,don’t they?
大家都知道答案,不是吗?
5.陈述部分含有must时,附加疑问部分因must后动词的类属和时态的不同而不同。
He must be a doctor,isn’t he?
他一定是位医生,是吗?(表示猜测)
You must have studied English for three years,haven’t you?
你一定学习英语三年了,是吗?(对发生在过去但对现在造成影响的动作进行推测)
He must have finished the task yesterday,didn’t he?
昨天,他一定完成了那项任务,是吗?(陈述句中出现了具体的表示过去的时间状语,附加疑问部分要用一般过去时)
You must see the doctor,needn’t you?
你必须要去看医生,是吗?(must表示“必须”时,附加疑问部分用need)
6.陈述部分为复合句时,附加疑问部分的两种情况:
(1)陈述句是带有定语从句、宾语从句、主语从句等的主从复合句时,一般而言,附加疑问部分的主语和谓语应分别与主句的主语和谓语保持一致。
He is not the man who gave us a report,is he?
他不是给我们做报告的那个人,是吗?
(2)陈述句是“主语+think/believe/expect/suppose/imagine/...+宾语从句”结构,且主句主语为第一人称时,附加疑问部分的主语和谓语应分别与从句的主语和谓语保持一致;主句主语为第二、三人称时,附加疑问部分的主语和谓语应与主句的主语和谓语保持一致。
We believe she can do it better,can’t she?
我们相信她能做得更好,不是吗?
You never believed why we were late for the last meeting,did you?
你从未相信过我们上次会议迟到的原因,是吗?
7.陈述句的主语为从句(主语从句)、动词不定式(短语)、动词-ing形式等时,附加疑问部分的主语通常用it。

8.当陈述句为there be结构时,附加疑问部分也应由there和be构成。

10.附加疑问句的回答方式应根据实际情况,而不受提问方式影响。但在回答“否定式陈述部分+肯定附加疑问部分”时,yes意为“不”,no意为“是的”。
