Daniel Ek said using AI in music will be discussed for“many, many years”.He said the biggest problem is that AI copies the voice of other singers.Spotify deleted one song created by an AI platform. It copied the voices of the singers Drake, and The Weeknd. The platform even applied for a Grammy music award with the song, but it was refused.Neither Drake nor The Weeknd knew about the song.*Mr Ek said it is a serious problem to copy singers'voices. He said it will be difficult to tell if a song is“sung”by a robot or a human. He added that the future of music production is going to be“tricky”.

A.By raising a question. B.By telling the development of Al.

3.For what reason did Spotify delete the song created by an AI platform?
A.Because it didn't sound good. B.Because it copied the voices of two singers.

A horse fair was an interesting place. Many people went there to sell horses. You could see many kinds of young and strong horses. There were also poor and thin horses and they were worn out because of hard work.
One day, the seller took me there. He wanted to sell me at a high price. I didn’t know if I would be lucky enough to meet a master who would treat me well.
Then a man with a gentle voice came to us. He wanted to buy me at a low price, but the seller refused.
Shortly after, a tall man with a very loud voice came. He walked around me and I was afraid he would buy me. Luckily, he walked away.
After a few minutes, the man with a gentle voice came back. I was very happy to see him again.
“I’ll give twenty-four pounds. Can you sell the horse to me?” he said.
“OK! Take it,” said the seller. “He’s a quality one and if you want him for work, he’s a good choice.”
Half an hour later, we left for the new home, along country roads, until we came to the city. My new home was in a narrow street. On one side of the street, there were some small, old houses. On the other, there were some stables (马厩).
We stopped in front of a house. My new master whistled (吹口哨). The door opened. A young woman, a little girl and a boy, came out. They all looked at me.
“Is he gentle, Father?” the girl asked.
“Yes, Dolly, as gentle as a cat. You can touch him.”
She touched my shoulder, whispering sweetly, “Welcome, my new friend.”

Passage 1 (2025·江苏南通·中考真题)
“Click, click, click...” The drummer hit the drumsticks against each other to give a beat, and the band started to play. Kai played a guqin solo, and for most of the show, he played along with the rhythm of the drums. The band played faster and faster. Kai’s classmates jumped to their feet, clapping and screaming. When the music ended, there was an awkward (尴尬的) silence. They all looked at the teachers.
Mr Li asked, “What were you trying to express?”
Kai murmured, “I wanted to do something different...to modernize the guqin’s sound.”
“Well, it’s a good try. But you know it has over 3,000 years of history. I don’t think you’ve presented the characteristics well,” said Mr Li. “The music was...We could hardly hear the guqin,” added Miss Zhou. “I’m afraid I can’t give you high marks.”
“Please, can I have another chance?” begged Kai.
They finally agreed.
Alone in the hall later, Kai sat in his chair, feeling a little sad. “I understand what you were trying to do,” Kai looked up and saw Miss Zhou by his side. “But before you can break the rules, you have to master them.”
Kai was puzzled. What did she mean?
“The guqin is connected to nature. The bottom board represents the ground, and the rounded top board represents the sky. A wonderful guqin performance shows the harmony (和谐) between people and nature.”
“Miss Zhou, is it fine to play the guqin with other instruments?”
“Because it is so quiet,” replied Miss Zhou, “it’s usually played alone. Sometimes, it can be played with the dizi or another guqin. Every note matters. And you know, there’s Chinese philosophy (哲理) behind every form of art. That’s what makes Chinese art special. We should try hard to keep the value of traditions and connect them with modern life.”
“Is it true that Confucius played the guqin?”
“Exactly. Confucius believed that music was necessary for a well-rounded education. It could help a person develop his inner self.”
“Can I make it modern?” Kai was wondering if he had asked a stupid question.
“Ancient musicians followed traditions to show respect. To modernize it, try to find the right way to keep the value. How will you change your piece?”
“I’m not sure yet,” said Kai. “But I’m going to do something different again.”

Passage 5 (2025·江苏扬州·二模)
根据短文内容回答问题
My shock and surprise disappeared when I understood that this island was my salvation (得救). I began to shout for help to the people on the island. They did not understand me but they understood that I was in difficulty and made signs for me to move towards them. They moved closer and when I was underneath the island they sent a chair down to me on a chain and pulled me up.
The people on the island were friendly and accepted me but they were incredibly strange. They wore the strangest clothes and they all had their own personal man servant who carried a large balloon on the end of a stick. The servant’s job was to tap (轻拍) his master on his mouth or ear when he needed to speak or listen to something. This was because these masters passed most of their time in intense thought (沉思). They thought about the strangest subjects for hours and hours a day. And as a result they had no sense of practical things in life, such as speaking or listening, or looking where they were going.
I later learnt that this island was called Laputa. Some people took me to speak to the king. When we arrived at his palace, the king was lost in thought and didn’t notice me. I waited for more than an hour until, finally, one of his servant tapped him on the mouth and he spoke.
I didn’t understand their language and could not answer the king. One of the servants tried to tap me on the mouth with his balloon to make me speak. I protested (抗议,反对) very quickly.
“I know exactly when to speak and listen,” I told them. They understood the sense of what I said. But they thought I was a complete idiot because I did not pass my time in thought, too. Then after dinner, a servant came to teach me their language and tell me about life on Laputa.

On January 9, 2025, something surprising happened at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing! A group of kids from the US, called One Voice Children’s Choir (合唱团), sang a popular Chinese song As You Wish in front of the Qiniandian. People walking by were amazed to hear the children’s beautiful singing and excellent Chinese. Someone recorded that in a video and it soon became popular online.
The leader of the choir, Masa Fukuda, said they were just singing for fun at that time. Once they started singing, many people gathered around to listen. Passage 5 (2025·江苏扬州·二模)
