考点一:一般过去时
One day, two men visited the king. 有一天,两名男子拜见了国王。
【解析】visit是动词,意思是“拜访,参观”,过去式是visited。
一般过去时:一般过去时表示过去某个时间里 发生的动作或状态;过去习惯性,经常性的动作、行为;主语过去所具备的能力和性格。常见的表示过去的时间状语有long long ago(很久以前),
yesterday(昨天)和the day before yesterday(前天)等。
【例句】I visited the museum yesterday. 我昨天参观了博物馆。
【拓展】动词过去式的构成:
1.be动词过去式为was、were, 当主语是第一人称单数和第三人称单数时,用was,其余
用were。
2.动词过去时的规则变化:
(1)一般情况下直接在动词词尾加-ed,如:watch—watched, look—looked, climb—climbed
(2)以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,在词尾加-d,如:like—liked, use—used
(3)以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,变y为i加-ed,如:study—studied, cry—cried
(4)以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词,先双写最后的这个辅音字母,再加-ed,如:
stop—stopped, plan—planned
(5)不规则动词过去式的变化,需要同学们逐个记忆,如:read—read, go—went, have—had

考点二:what和how引导感叹句
What beautiful clothes! 多么漂亮的衣服啊!
【解析】本句是由what引导的感叹句,其句型结构为:
1. What +a/an +形容词+可数名词单数(+主语+谓语)!
2. What +形容词+可数名词复数/不可数名词(+主语+谓语)!
【例句】What a big cake it is! (它是)多么大的一个蛋糕啊!
【拓展】由how引导的感叹句句型结构是:How+形容词/副词(+主语+谓语)!

考点三:there be句型的一般过去时
Long long ago, there was a king. 很久以前,有一个国王。
【解析】there be句型的一般过去时,表示“过去有某物/某人。”
(1)肯定句:单数句型结构:There was+可数名词单数/不可数名词+地点.
复数句型结构:There were+可数名词复数+地点.
⭐⭐易错点提醒:There be句型遵守“就近原则”即如果句子中有两个或两个以上的主语,be动词的形式要跟距离它最近的名词在数上保持一致。
【例句】Two days ago, there was a pie and some cakes on the table.
Two days ago, there were some cakes and a pie on the table.
(2) 否定句:在be动词后加not,若句中有some要变为any。
【例句】There wasn’t a cake in the fridge yesterday. 昨天冰箱里没有一个蛋糕。
There weren’t any books in the bag yesterday. 昨天下午包里没有一些书本。
(3) 一般疑问句:把be动词提至句首,some变any
【例句】—Was there a cake in the fridge yesterday? —Yes, there was./No, there wasn’t.
—Were there any books in the bag yesterday? —Yes, there were./No, there weren’t.

考点四:show的用法
The two men showed the king his new clothes. 两名男子给国王展示了他的新衣服。
【解析】show作动词时后面通常接双宾语结构,即show sb. sth.,也可以把指物的宾语提前,把指人的宾语放在后面,但这时要在指人的宾语前面加to,即show sth. to sb.。当show后面接的sb.和sth.都是代词时,只能用show sth. to sb.的形式。此外,show还可以用作名词,意为“展览,展示”。
【例句】The old man showed his stamps to us. = The old man showed us his stamps. 老人给我们看他的邮票。
【拓展】与此结构类似的还有give sb. sth.=give sth. to sb.

【解析】try on表示“试穿”,当试穿的是某物名词时,可以将名词置于try和on的中间或者on的后面,但如果试穿的某物是代词时,则只能置于try和on的中间。
【例句】Please try on this coat.=Please try this coat on. 请试穿这件外套。
