第四部分写作(共两节,满分40分)
第-节应用文写作(满分15分)
As is shown in the survey, the use of snap-for-answers applications varies among students of different
grades.About 40%of Senior I students use such apps.while the percentage rises to 60%for Senior 2 students
and reaches nearly 80%for Senior 3 students.
There are several reasons for this phenomenon.Firstly,as students move to higher grades.academic
pressure increases.and they face more difficult assignments. These apps provide a quick way to get answers.
which saves time.Secondly, the convenience of taking a photo to get solutions makes them appealing.
In my opinion, while these apps can be helpful tools for learning.we should use them wisely. They should
serve as a supplement to our study, not a replacement for independent thinking. We need to make sure we
understand the concepts behind the answers rather than just copying them.Only in this way can we truly improve
our academic performance.
第三节(满分25分)

practiced hundreds of times.Looking back the years I had experienced as I sang on the stage,I realized that it is
the opportunity that I had been waiting for the whole life.I kept myself full of enthusiasm as I was singing on the
stage.showing the best to the audience
After the concert.I hiad pliorograpliers and journalists banling to interview me.With them around me,a
long queue of fans were waiting to have their photograph taken with me.I was like a superstar and that night was
like a real dream for me.I had knocked on doors for years.yet my moment came when the opportunity called me.
Life can surprise you.It has reinspired my passion for music. This has made all the odd jobs and weekends spent
in recording studios all worthwhile.

Things to Do with Kids in San Francisco
Exploratorium
The Exploratorium is a 21st-century learning lab.It takes the best part of a hands-on children's museum and
mixes it with real science, exploration, and adventure. It is a fun and interesting place for children and adults
alike.I would not recommend the Exploratorium for children under age 5.
Palace of Fine Arts
The Palace of Fine Arts is a great place to visit when the weather is nice. The gardens are beautiful and it's
fun to walk around and explore.A lot of special events seem to be held here including weddings. The kids really
enjoy walking around and taking pictures.
San Francisco Cable Cars
No trip to San Francisco would be complete without a ride on a cable car.The best line to pick up is the
Hyde line because it is the longest. The best time to go is first thing in the morning because the'lines can be long.
Another tip is to pick it up mid-line..Or ride another two lines where they won't be as crowded.
Boudin Museum Bakery Tour
The Boudin Museum Bakery Tour cannot be missed. You may be blown away by the enthusiasm and
knowledge of your tour guide, the quality of the museum,hands-on and photography friendly exhibits, and the
rich San Francisco history that is a part of Boudin Bakery.Don't miss taking the test to find out what kind of
bread you are.It sounds silly but trust me,you'll want to take the quick quiz.

Dr Mary Walker was the first female surgeon of the U.S.and served near the front lines of the Civil War.
Her accomplishments'including being the only female recipient of the Medal of Honor, made Walker a living
symbol of women's independence.
Born on November 26,1832,in Oswego,New York,Dr Walker grew up in a home where education was
valued. Her parents encouraged curiosity and built a school on their property. Both parents dealt with illness and
read medical books to learn about the human body. Her father's belief in personal hygiene (profoundly
influenced Mary from an early age;

the only woman in her graduating class. That same year she married classmate Albert Miller, spurning tradition
by keeping her family name and refusing to recite the word "obey"during her vows.
Setting up a joint medical practice in New York,Dr Walker faced prejudice against female doctors. However,
the outbreak of tha Civil War in 1861 provided an opportunity to serve her country.Wearing men's clothes for
practicality, she fearlessly volunteered as a medical assistant, tending to wounded soldiers on the battlefield. Her
courage caught the military's eye,and in 1863,she became the first female surgeon in the army.
While serving as an assistant surgeon with the North,Dr Walker often crossed enemy lines to treat people in
need in the South. On April 10,1864,Southern troops arrested her and accused her of being a spy. They put her
into prison and the conditions were awful. On August 12,1864,Dr Waker was part of a prisoner exchange. After
her release, she returned to her role as a surgeon, tirelessly serving until the war's end in 1865.
President Andrew Johnson recognized her incredible service and awarded her the Medal of Honor, making

Inspired by the medical bay of the USS Enterprise from Star Trek(《星际迷航》),a research team from the
University of Waterloo uses redar technology to monitor people's health while they are at the wheel, turning an
ordinary car or truck into a mobile medical center.
Dr George Shaker,a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University
of Waterloo,is working with a team of graduate students to combine radar with evolving vehicle technalogy to
make health checks easier. The idea is to use the time people spend in their cars to gather data on their health for
accurate analysis and preventative treatment-without the need for any type of wearable devices.
The radar, smaller than a USB thumb drive,is placed into the vehicle cabin and sends out signals that detect
human vibrations(),which are then sent back to the radar. The built-in Al system collects and analyzes the
data to build a medical picture and identify any potential conditions. At the end of the driver's journey, the system
sends the report directly to their cell phone for review.
For Shaker and his team, the challenge was evolving the technology to identify changes in breathing
patterns or heart rhythms that signify potential health issues related to cardiovascular conditions as well as
respiratory system conditions.
"We focus on enhancing data collection for exact information related to people's health issues and teaching
the AI how to make medical interpretations from the data.Another important consideration is personal privacy
and security-no data is stored on the cloud:it is sent to the monitored person's cell phone only,"said Ali Ghara,
the lead PhD student on the project.
The research team is building on this work to expand the radar technology's capabilities to monitor all
vehicle occupants'overall health and well-being,run diagnostics and generate quality medical reports that flag
any issues that need attention,as well as assist with emergency communication in the event of an accident.
28 What can we learn about the radar technology?
A.It combines with vehicle technology to assess the driver's health.
B.It sends the health report to the driver's phone for review.

C.It provides more accurate health data than wearables.
D.It creates medical pictures to reveal healthy secrets.
29.What is the main idea of paragraph 3?
A.The working principle of the radar device
B.The significance of the built-in AI system.
C.The potential health conditions of drivers.
D.The development of vehicle technology.
30.What can be inferred from Ati Ghara's words in paragraph 5?
A.The Al needs training to collect health data.
B.Al's interpretation of medical date is accurate.
C.Cell phones monitor personal privacy and security.
D.The team is improving data collection and analysis.
31 What does the follow-up study aim to do?
A.Ensure the privacy of medical reports.
B.Warn the drivers of potential accidents
C.Enhance health monitoring for all passengers.

The student syndrome (is a phenomenon where a large number of students put off doing things
until right before the deadline.32,which usually leads to negative results for those who display it.
They will feel stressed and overwhelmed, and the task seems to be never finished.
To avoid the student syndrome, you should figure out what's causing you to delay in the first place, and then
use some techniques.33:
Break your tasks into small and manageable steps. For example,if you need to write an article, you can start
with small steps, such as figuring out the title, creating a rough description, and finding five appropriate
academic sources.Keep it in mind that if the project in question is large, then you generally shouldn't worry
about figuring out all the steps to it from the very beginning.34.Then find new steps as you make
progress along the way. This helps you avoid feeling upset and getting stuck.
For example,if you have a single deadline for completing a large research paper, set additional
deadlines along the way for completing specific parts of it.These additional deadlines to be met will make the
very large research paper more manageable and less frightening.
Find your productivity cycles.People's ability to complete certain tasks is different based on a great many

factors such as the time of day.For example,it may be the case that you're best able to concentrate on difficult
tasks early in the morning, before you've started dealing with emails or minor administrative aspects of your job.

A Establish specific goals for yourself
