I’m glad to tell you something about the famous scientist, Thomas Edison, from my angle.
Born in America, Thomas Edison was a great inventor. He was once thought not to be worth educating. In fact, he was a man full of wisdom.
I like Edison very much because of what he did to the world. He had more than 1, 000 inventions. During all his life, he was always eager to know how things worked. He was also hard-working. That’s why he had so many great inventions.
What impresses me is his famous saying, “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.” From him, I realize the secret to success is not when or where you were born, but what you do and how you do it. He is really a craftsman of the world.
