教学目标
By the end of the class, you will be able to:
1. master words and sentences about things and their colors.
2. master the ability of listening.
3. know the most popular color in China and stimulate the interest of English learning.
教学重难点
(1)用What疑问句和别人问答物品的名称。
(2)用What color疑问句和别人问答物品的颜色。
(3)会读,会写本课时的重点单词,短语和句子。
教学过程
1、 教材分析 Analysis of teaching material
What:本课时的内容主要是两点,第一,问答物体的名称,第二,问答物体的颜色。
Why:通过本节课的学习帮助学生复习用what疑问句问答物体名称,学习如何问答物体的颜色。
How:1a是用一幅问答物品名称的主题图片引入话题,把物品和名称搭配起来。1b通过对话介绍目标句型what疑问句,通过对话活动来练习使用目标语句问答物品名称。2a是学习颜色类单词。2b是通过对话问答物体的颜色。2c是听对话给物体涂颜色。2d是听对话完成对子颜色填空。2e是自己编写对话完成问答物体的名称和颜色。
二、教学重难点
教学重点:
1. Students are able to name the things in their schoolbags like rulers, bottles, caps, erasers, pencils.
2. Students are able to ask others about the things they have with the sentence patterns:—What do you have in…? —I have…
3. Students are able to use the sentence patterns to ask and answer about the colours of items:①—What colour is…? —It's… ②—What colour are…? —They're…
教学难点:
1. Students are able to accurately and skillfully describe the colours of items.
2.Students are able to introduce the things they have with proper sentence patterns.

Step 1 Leadin
Look at the school things in my Schoolbag.
T:what do I have in my school bag? can you guess?
Ss:I have so many school things.
T:Today let's come to know the things in our schoolbags.
【设计意图】
通过图片的方式导入新课,激发学生的学习兴趣,学生能够了解本课时的重点目标语言。
Step 2 Presentation & Speaking(1a~1b)
Show students some things in my schoolbag and ask them to tell what it is.
(The teacher prepares a ruler, a bottle, a cap, some pencils and keys and put them on the power point.Then teach the school things and their pronunciation one by one.)
T: look at the Picture. What are Emma and Tengfei talking about? Listen to the conversation.
S: The things in their schoolbags.
T: And what do Emma and Tengfei have in their schoolbags?
Work on 1a.
1. Ask students to look at the picture in 1a and match the things with the names.
2. Ask students to share the answers and the teacher helps to correct their pronunciation if necessary.
3. When to use “a”? 辅音因素前面用a, When to use “an”? 元音因素前面用an.
Work on 1b
1. Ask students to take out their schoolbags and work in pairs to introduce the things they have in their schoolbags.
T:Just now we knew what Emma and Tengfei have in their schoolbags. Practice conversation to talk about what you have in your schoolbag.The following sentence patterns will help:

(The teacher shows the sentence patterns.Students watch the video and try to make conversation.)

Step 3 Presentation & Speaking(2a~2b)
Show students different colorful pencils and ask them about the what Colors they are
T:Look at the colorful pencils.What colour is it?
Ss:It's red.
T:What about this one?
Ss:blue.
Work on 2a
Look at your book,turn to page eight. look at activity 2a.
1. Ask students to read the colour words in 2a and match them with the pictures.
2. Ask students to share the answers and the teacher helps to correct their pronunciation if necessary.
Work on 2b
T:look at my shirt. What color is my shirt? Yes, it's blue.
Now look at the things below. Talk about what colors they are.
1. Ask students to share the answers and the teacher helps to correct their mistakes if necessary.
(Students must answer the questions with complete sentences.)
T:What color is the cap?
Ss: It's brown.
T:What color are the trousers?
Ss:They are blue.
(emphasize it's means it is and they're means they are .)
T:What colour are the erasers?
Ss:They are orange.
T:What color is the apple?
Ss: It’s green.
(The teacher shows that is the cap, not are the cap. are the trousers, not is the trousers, are the erasers not is , is the Apple not are)
(Students must answer the questions with complete sentences.)
【设计意图】 学生能用完整的句子回答2b部分的问题,加强对目标句型的练习。
2. watch the videos.What's wrong with them? Find the mistakes from the videos and correct them.
Step 4 Listening & Speaking(2c~2e)
Work on 2c
1. Play the recording for students and ask them to use colorful pencils to colour the things in 2c.
2. Check the answers and ask students to correct their mistakes.
Work on 2d
1. Play the recording again for students to complete the sentences in 2d.
2. Check the answers and ask students to correct their mistakes.
(Students must answer the questions with complete sentences.)
3.listen and imitate.pay attention to the intonation and pronunciation.
Work on 2e
Ask students to work in pairs and make up new conversations to introduce the new things they have with the given sentence patterns.
T:We know the new things I have.What new things do you have?
(The teacher gives students an example first.)

Step 5 The most popular color in China is red.
Students guess what my favorite color is.
Show some pictures about red objects in China.
(The red in China means luck and happiness.We all use red objects during the most important Festival especially the Spring Festival.)
Step 6 Summary
Students will make a summary about what they have learned today.
