III. 完形填空。
A Saturday morning, I wanted to surprise my family with a special breakfast. I decided to make 11 pancakes, a sweet treat I’d seen on a cooking show.
First, I gathered the ingredients: two ripe bananas, one egg, a cup of flour, half a teaspoon of baking powder (发酵粉), and a little milk. 12 a simple but tasty combination! I mashed the bananas in a bowl 13 they were smooth, then added the egg and mixed well. In another bowl, I combined the flour and baking powder. I slowly poured the dry ingredients into the banana mixture and stirred gently. When it felt too thick, I added 14 of milk—just enough to make a creamy batter (奶油状面糊) .

Next, I heated a non-stick pan 15 medium heat and brushed it with a bit of oil. Using a spoon, I dropped small circles of batter into the pan. As they cooked, tiny bubbles (气泡) 16 on the surface. How quickly they started to puff up! After about two minutes,I flipped (使翻面) each pancake. The underside was golden brown, just like I ’d hoped.
Finally, I stacked (堆叠) the pancakes on a plate and topped them with fresh blueberries and a drizzle of honey. 17 wonderful the whole kitchen smelled! My family smiled when they saw the colorful breakfast.
