1. How do we compare with each other? 我们如何相互比较?
【辨析】compare ... with ... 与 compare ... to ...
compare ... with ...:意为“把……与……作比较”,用于两个同类事物之间的比较,侧重区别。
compare ... to ...:意为“把……比作……”,指两个不同性质的事物进行比较,含有比喻意味;意为“把……与……作比较”时,可与compare ... with ... 互换。
He never compares himself with others. 他从不把自己和别人作比较。
We often compare teachers to gardeners. 我们常把老师比作园丁。
