★Step 1 Leading in 【复习导入】
Show some pictures to the Ss and ask them to answer the following questions:
(1)Where is ...? (2)Are/Is there...?
★Step 2 Pretask 【准备任务】
Page 39,3a
1.Show the sentences in 3a on Page 39 to the Ss.Then ask them to read the sentences and underline the verbs in there be structure.
2.Ask the Ss to circle the prepositions of position in the sentences.
3.Tell the usage of the verbs in there be structure.
4.Summarise the prepositions of position in our daily life.
★Step 3 Grammar focus learning 【语法学习】
1.存现句
(1)存现句是英语中的常用句型,表示“某地有某物/人”。其基本结构为“There is/are+某物/人+某地/时”。该句型里动词必须和主语在人称和数上保持一致。
【注意】如果存现句中有两个或多个并列主语时,系动词be要与最邻近的主语的单复数保持一致,即“就近原则”。
(2)there be各种句型的转换
①一般疑问句
there be句型的一般疑问句形式是把系动词be置于句首。
【注意】当there be句型中有some时,转换成一般疑问句时需将some改为any。
②否定句
there be句型的否定形式是在系动词be的后面加not或者no。
2.方位介词短语
(1)in front of 在......前面
(2)in the middle of在......中间
(3)next to 在......附近
(4)at the back of 在......后面
(5)across from在......对面
(6)between...and...在......和......中间

1.Ask the Ss to complete the sentences in 3b.
2.Show the right answers to the Ss,and then ask them to check their answers.

1.Show the picture on Page 39 to the Ss,and ask them to answer the following questions:
(1)What is this? (2)Is it the same as yours?
2.Let the Ss circle the correct prepositions to complete the description of the classroom in the photo.
3.Ask some students to share their answers,and show the right answers to them.

1.Ask the Ss to talk about how their classroom is different from the classroom in 3c.

In this period,we should ask the students to read the content in Grammar Focus first.Then they can understand what they have learned.After that,we can create some proper situations to help them make their own conversations by using the sentence patterns.As we all know,reading aloud,understanding,summarizing and practising are necessary processes in grammar class.
