★Step 1 Leading in 【情景导入】
Show the title of Section B to the Ss and ask them a question:What are we going to learn in this lesson?
Possible answer:things on a farm.
★Step 2 Pretask 【准备任务】
Page 16,1a
1.Ask the Ss to look at the picture on Page 16 and tick the things they see.
2.Check the answers with the class.
★Step 3 Whiletask 【过程任务】
Page 16,1b
1.Show the picture to the Ss and ask them to answer the following questions.
(1)What's its form?(Answer:A picture.)
(2)What is it about?(Answer:A farm.)
2.Let the Ss read the text and circle the things Peter talks about in the picture in 1a.

1.Let the Ss look through the questions in 1c first,then read the text in 1b again and complete the sentences.
2.Ask the Ss to discuss their answers with their classmates,and then choose some students to check the answers.

1.look的用法
◆作实义动词,意为“看”,强调看的动作。如需强调看的对象,要和at连用,即look at sb./sth.。
◆作系动词,意为“看起来”,后跟形容词。
2.kind n. 种类
常用短语:a kind of“一种”,修饰可数名词单数或不可数名词;different kinds of“不同种类的”,修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词。all kinds of “各种各样的”,修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词。
【拓展】kind还可作形容词,意为“体贴的;亲切的”。常用短语:be kind to sb.“对某人友好”
3.辨析home与house
◆home指家庭成员在一起生活的地方,强调归属感。
◆house主要指建筑物住宅,可以包含若干个房间。
4.like v.喜欢
常见用法:like sb./sth.喜欢某人/某物;like to do/doing sth.喜欢做某事。
