Teaching Procedures
1. Warm-up and Review (8 minutes)

For example, "name" (from Millie's message: "I am at Sunshine Middle School now. It is a nice school."), "be" (from "Sandy is a tall girl."), "fine" (though not directly in the reading, as a review word), "home" (related to school life), "cute" (to introduce /juː/).
- Sound Introduction: Play short audio clips of the vowel sounds /eɪ/, /iː/, /aɪ/, /əʊ/, /juː/. Ask students to repeat the sounds after hearing them.
2. Presentation of Vowel Sounds (12 minutes)
- Sound - Word Association:
- For /eɪ/: Show words like "name", "face", "game", "age", "late" from the textbook. Explain that the letter "a" makes the /eɪ/ sound in these words. Have students repeat
