1. 方位词
in front of behind beside between on in next to near under 后面加代词用宾格

a. between 在……之间（在两者之间）
如：There are some trees between Building A and Building B.
b. beside 在……旁边
如：The students are standing beside the teacher.
c. in front of 在……前面（外部）
如：There is a tree in front of the classroom.
in the front of 在……前面（内部）
Miss Li is standing in the front of the classroom.
d. under 在……下面
如：There is a cat under the table.
e. behind 在……后面
如：There is an umbrella behind the door.
f. beside/near/next to的区别
三个词都是“在旁边，在附近，靠近”的意思，但是表示远近时候还是有区别的。
从近到一般近到最近为：near>beside>next to
near:“不远的，接近的”指空间或时间上the near future 不远的将来
beside:“在……旁边”一般指空间上 Come and sit beside me.
next to:与……邻接的，其次的 The shop is next to the school.
g. between的用法
1）用于两个人或两件事之间，常与and连用，between the desk and the chair
2）用于相同的物品和一类人之间，后面名词用复数，between the girls

2.There be 结构
There is a/an 可数名词单数+地点./There is +不可数名词+地点.（肯定句）
There are+基数词/some+可数名词复数+地点.（否定句）
Tip:There be 结构的就近原则——句型中be动词的单复数形式由后面挨近的一项的单复数决定.
There be 与have 的区别：There be 指客观存在的“有”，表示某地存在某人/某物，是一种存在关系。
Have主观上的“拥有、持有”，表示某人有某物，是一种从属关系。
there be表示“存在有” There is an English book on the desk.
have/has表示“某人拥有” I have an English book.
注意：不能出现There have/has结构（×）
There isn’t a/an+可数名词单数+地点.(否定句)
There aren’t 基数词/any+可数名词复数+地点.（否定句）
Is there a/an +可数名词单数+地点？（一般疑问句）Yes,there is. No,there isn’t.
Are there any +可数名词复数+地点？（一般疑问句）Yes,there are. No,there aren’t.
