Period 1 Section A（1a-1d）& Pronunciation 一、教材分析 What: 本课时主要包含包含两个小对话及语音练习。通过Fu Xing和Ella以及Peter和老师Ms Gao的交流，Ella和Peter分别表达了对不同学科的感受和喜好以及各自的原因。语音部分任务1主要介绍了双元音/eɪ /，/aɪ/，/ɔɪ/，/əʊ /，/aʊ/，/ɪə/，/eə/和/ʊə/，和元音字母及字母组合的发这些音的规则，任务2主要介绍了“辅音+元音”的连读规则。 Why: 通过本节课的学习帮助学生在面对不同的学科时，发表自己的看法，并能理解不同学科的价值。 How: 活动1a-1d是一个完整的听说任务链，其中1a是听前活动，呈现了后续活动需要的学科名称；1b和1c是听中活动，1b通过听对话，找出提及的学科名称，1c是需要深入了解Ella和Peter对不同学科的喜好和感受，选出对应的形容词；1d是听后活动，呈现了本部分的核心句式，让学生模仿听力对话，与同伴交流彼此喜欢的学科及原因。 二、教学内容 1. 有关学科类名词和描述性形容词的表达。 2. 询问和回答个人最喜欢的学科及原因的句式。 3. 发/eɪ /，/aɪ/，/ɔɪ/，/əʊ /，/aʊ/，/ɪə/，/eə/和/ʊə/音的字母和字母组合以及连读现象。 三、教学目标 【知识与技能】 1. 掌握以下重点单词：art，geography，biology，history，Chinese，maths，IT，music，English，PE，hard，boring，fun，important，boring，useful，exciting 2. 掌握下列句型： ①—What's your favourite subject?　—My favourite subject is... ②—Why do you like...?　—Because it's... ③Ella doesn't like...because it's... ④Ella's favourite subject is...because it's... 3. 学会清晰地表达自己对某一学科的喜好及其原因，表现出良好的语言组织和表达能力。 【情感、态度与价值观】 通过对喜欢的学科的阐述，了解不同学科所包含的文化背景和历史发展，树立正确的学习观。 四、教学重难点 重点： 1．学生能够清晰准确地说出自己喜欢的学科名称。 2．学生能够准确地描述他们喜欢某些学科的原因，使用适当的形容词。 难点： 1. 学生能够准确地描述他们喜欢某些学科的原因。 2. 能够利用发音为双元音的字母或字母组合规律，试读新单词并正确发音。 五、教学准备 图片，实物教具，音乐，多媒体等。 六、教学过程 Step 1　Lead-in 将不同学科上课的场景图，用PPT展示，或者展示不同学科的特色教具，让学生进行快问快答，能够快速集中注意力，进入上课状态。 ... 【设计意图】以快问快答的方式导入，激发学生的学习兴趣，同时通过提问题使学生快速将注意力集中到本单时的主题。 Step 2　Pre-listening Work on 1a. 1．Ask students to read the words in the table and ask them to match the words with the pictures. T：Look at the pictures in 1a.In which class can we see these things?Please match the subjects with the pictures. 2．Ask students to share the answers and the teacher helps to correct if necessary. 【设计意图】通过1a练习，激活学生关于学科名词的词汇，将方框中的学科名称与图片进行匹配，实现词汇音、形、义的统一，并为后续的听力奠定语言基础。 Step 3　While-listensing 1. Work on 1b （1）Let students listen to the two conversations，tick the subjects Ella and Peter talk about. （2）Let students share the answers and the teacher helps to correct if necessary. Check the answers: Ella: history, maths, art, geography Peter: Chinese, maths, IT, PE 2. Work on 1c （1）Let students look at the sentences in 1c , read out aloud the sentences, pay attention to the coloured words. （2）Let students listen to the two conversations and finish the task in 1c and the teacher helps to correct if necessary. Let students say out the questions sentence of each sentence in 1c. Check the answers: 1. Why doesn’t Ella like history? 2. Why is maths Ella’s favourite?/Why does Ella like maths best? 3. Why doesn’t Peter like maths? 4. Why is PE Peter’s favourite?/Why does Peter like PE best? 2. Pair work and Work on 1d. Let students work in pairs and ask each other with the sentences in the above chart. Choose some students show in class. 【设计意图】通过句型总结和小组活动内化知识的语言运用。 Step 5 Pronunciation 1. Work on 1 （1）Listen and conclude. Play the pronunciation of the following words: name；face；day，let students repeat. T: What pronunciation does these words have in common？ Ss: They all have /eɪ/. T: Great. They all have /eɪ/. Now, look at these words, do you know which words can pronounce /eɪ/. Ss: a；ay. Conclude the other seven words’ pronunciation in the same way. （2）Practice Show the pictures of ay/oy/oi/ou/ear/ere/air/are/ure/our/oor and let students say out their pronunciation quickly.
