长元音 [ɜː]发音要领
1.舌尖抵下齿,舌前部尽量向上腭抬起
2.略略扁形,像微笑的口形,嘴唇较紧
3.发音时间可持续长些
1.舌身平放,舌中部稍抬起,双唇向两旁伸开,成扁平形;
2. 在[3:]基础上往回收,嘴唇较松,非常轻松的发出这个音。
短元音 [ə]发音要领
1.舌尖和舌端两侧轻触下齿,舌后部靠前部分稍抬起,口形稍扁
2.唇形放松,开口度比[a:]稍小
短元音[ʌ]发音要领
长元音[ɑː]发音要领
口开到最大,舌尖离开下齿龈,舌后部略抬起
长元音:发音拖长
后元音:它的发音部位靠后

当s在元音或浊辅音后时,通常读作/z/。

当s在清辅音(如/p/, /t/, /k/, /f/等)后面时,读作/s/。

【注意】
2. es的发音:
以s,sh,ch,x结尾的词在词尾加-es时,读作/ɪz/。
如:bus/bʌs/ → buses/ˈbʌsɪz/
match/mætʃ/→ matches/mætʃɪz/
以“辅音字母+y”结尾的单词,复数es的发音也为/iz/。但以“元音字母+y”结尾的单词,不适用于此规则(如boy/bɔɪ/→boys/bɔɪz/)。
如:library/ˈlaɪbrəri/→libraries/ˈlaɪbrəriz/

(1)spend v. 花(时间、钱等),主语只能是表示人的名词或代词。常见句型:“某人花时间/金钱做某事”
