Show students some pictures of well - known great minds, such as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, and Marie Curie. Ask them to name these figures and briefly describe what they know about them.
T: “Look at these pictures, class. Who can tell me the names of these great people and something about their achievements?”
Encourage students to share their ideas and have a short discussion in pairs. Then invite several pairs to report their discussions to the class.
2. Project Introduction (5 minutes)
Explain the project requirements to the students.
T: “For this project, you are going to work in groups of four. Each group needs to choose a great mind, research about his or her life, achievements, challenges, and then make a presentation to the class. You can use pictures, videos, and other materials to make your presentation more vivid.”
Provide students with some resources, such as relevant websites, library books, and suggest the division of tasks within the group, like researcher, writer, presenter, and illustrator.
3. Group Work (20 minutes)
Let students form groups and start their research. Walk around the classroom, monitor their progress, and offer help when necessary.

Assign homework, asking students to further perfect their presentations at home.
教学反思
After this 45 - minute class, several aspects need to be reflected on. In terms of the lead - in, showing pictures of great minds successfully aroused students' interest, but the discussion time could be extended a bit more to allow more students to fully express their thoughts. During the group work, most groups were actively engaged in research, but some groups faced difficulties in information - gathering, indicating that more detailed guidance on using resources could be provided in advance. In the presentation preparation part, some students had problems in organizing their ideas clearly, which implies that more training on logical thinking and presentation structure is necessary. Overall, the class achieved part of the teaching objectives, but there is still room for improvement in future teaching to better enhance students' language skills and project - based learning abilities.
