 Step1. Warm-up

- Greeting: "Good morning, class! How was your weekend? Did you do anything interesting?"

- Brainstorming: Ask students to name planets in the solar system. Write their answers on the blackboard. Then ask, "Have you ever looked through a telescope? What would you like to see with it?"

Step2. Presentation

- New Words Teaching:

- Explain their meanings and usages with simple examples:

- Unless: "You can’t go out unless you finish your homework."

unless conj .除非；如果不→ if ... not （同义句式）

unless 常引导条件状语从句。在含有 unless 引导的条件状语从句的复合句中，主语多用一般将来时，从句常用一般现在时表示将来。

 e.g., I don’t think you can find one unless you have a bigger telescope.
