教学过程
A. Lead - in (5 minutes)
Show some pictures of different school scenes, such as students in the classroom, on the playground, in the library, etc.
T: Look at these pictures. What can you see? Where are the students?
Ss: We can see students in the classroom, on the playground...
Ask students to share their own school life experiences briefly.
T: Think about your own school life. What is the most interesting thing you have done in school recently? Who would like to share with us?
Invite 2 - 3 students to answer.
B. Knowledge Review (10 minutes)
Vocabulary Review
Use flashcards to review key vocabulary about school life. Show the flashcards one by one and ask students to read the words aloud and explain their meanings in simple English or Chinese.
T: (Show the flashcard of "library") What's this?
Ss: Library.
T: What can we do in the library?
Ss: We can read books, borrow books...
Sentence Pattern Review
Write some sentence patterns on the blackboard, such as "There be...", "I usually...", "My favorite... is... because...", "I have to...". Then ask students to make sentences using these patterns with the vocabulary they just reviewed.
T: Now, let's use the sentence pattern "There be...". Please make a sentence about our school.
S1: There are many classrooms in our school.
T: Good. How about using "I usually..." to talk about your school activities?
S2: I usually play football on the playground after school.
Grammar Review - Simple Present Tense
Briefly review the usage and structure of the simple present tense. Give some examples and ask students to identify the subjects and verbs, and explain why the verbs are in that form.
T: Look at this sentence "He goes to school by bus every day." Who can tell me which is the subject and which is the verb? And why does the verb "go" become "goes"?
S3: The subject is "he", and the verb is "goes". Because "he" is the third - person singular, so we add -s to the verb.
C. Project Introduction (5 minutes)
Present the project task to the students.
T: In this class, we are going to complete a project. You need to introduce your school life. You can choose to make a vlog, a poster, or write a short passage. You can work in groups of 4 - 5.
Explain the requirements of the project.
Content: Include school facilities, subjects, activities, and your feelings about school life.
Language: Use the vocabulary, sentence patterns, and grammar we have learned in this unit.
Presentation: The presentation should be clear, organized, and interesting.
D. Group Work (15 minutes)
Divide students into groups. Let them choose their group members and decide the way they want to present their school life (vlog, poster, or passage).
Guide students to discuss in groups.
T: Now, start discussing in your groups. First, make a plan. Decide who will be responsible for which part. For example, someone can be in charge of introducing school facilities, someone for subjects, and so on.
Walk around the classroom, listen to their discussions, and offer help and guidance when necessary. For example, if students have difficulty in using vocabulary or sentence patterns, give them some tips.
Encourage students to collect relevant information. They can use their textbooks, notebooks, or recall their own experiences.
T: You can look back at our textbooks and notebooks to find useful information. Also, think about your own school life. What unique things can you share?
E. Presentation and Evaluation (10 minutes)
Invite each group to present their work.
If it is a vlog, play the video for the whole class. If it is a poster, ask group members to introduce it in front of the class. If it is a passage, ask one of the group members to read it aloud.
During the presentation, other students should listen carefully and take notes.
After each presentation, conduct an evaluation.
First, let the presenting group ask for feedback from their classmates.
T: Now, the [group name] has finished their presentation. Do you have any questions or suggestions for them?
Then, the teacher gives a comprehensive evaluation from aspects such as content, language use, organization, and creativity.
T: In terms of content, you have covered all the important aspects of school life, which is very good. But in terms of language use, I noticed that there are a few grammar mistakes. For example, in this sentence... In the future, you should pay more attention to grammar accuracy. Overall, it is a great presentation.
F. Summary (5 minutes)
Summarize the key points of this class, including the vocabulary, sentence patterns, and grammar related to school life, as well as the process and results of the project.
T: Today, we reviewed a lot of knowledge about school life, such as vocabulary like "library", "playground", sentence patterns like "There be...", and the simple present tense. And we completed a project to introduce our school life. You all did a great job.

教学反思
Positive aspects
The lead - in part was effective in attracting students' attention and arousing their interest in the topic. By showing pictures and asking for their own experiences, students were quickly engaged in the class.
Group work provided students with opportunities to cooperate and communicate with each other. Most students actively participated in group discussions, which improved their teamwork ability.
The project - based learning method made the class more practical and interesting. Students could apply what they had learned to real - life situations, which enhanced their language output ability.
Problems
Some students still had difficulty in using complex sentence patterns and rich vocabulary to describe their school life. Although there were reviews in class, they seemed to be more accustomed to using simple and basic expressions.
In group work, a few students were less active and relied too much on their group members. This may be due to lack of confidence or unclear task division.
The evaluation time was a bit tight. Sometimes, there was not enough time for all students to fully express their opinions and suggestions, and the teacher's evaluation might not be as detailed as expected.
Improvement measures
Provide more model sentences and examples in future classes, and encourage students to imitate and create more complex sentences. Also, arrange more writing and speaking exercises to strengthen their language skills.
Before group work, clarify the task requirements and division of labor more clearly. And during group work, pay more attention to individual students to ensure that everyone participates actively.
Adjust the time arrangement appropriately to ensure sufficient evaluation time. Maybe limit the presentation time of each group slightly to make more time for evaluation and feedback.
