一、教材分析
【What】
本课围绕 “诺尔曼・白求恩 —— 带着爱到中国” 展开,介绍了白求恩的生平(出生于加拿大、毕业于多伦多大学等)、成就(发现帮助肺结核病人的新方法、发明医疗工具等)、在中国抗日战争时期的贡献(组织医院、培训医护人员、教急救等),以及中国为纪念他所做的举措(建立白求恩医科大学和白求恩国际和平医院),还包含判断正误、完成清单、填空、快速问答等任务。
【Why】
让学生学习与白求恩及国际援助相关的英语表达,了解白求恩的事迹,提升阅读理解、信息提取和英语交流能力,培养学生的国际主义精神和对伟大人物的敬仰。
【How】
以介绍白求恩的文本为语篇内容,通过完成读、判断、填空、讨论等任务,引导学生学习新词汇、句型,掌握伟大人物相关的表达。
二、学情分析
学生对白求恩有一定的认知,但用英语描述其事迹和贡献可能存在不足。此阶段学生具备基础的英语阅读和交流能力,对伟大人物话题感兴趣。本节课重难点在于理解文本中白求恩的相关内容,能运用相关内容完成任务和交流伟大人物。
