故选 A。

故选 A。
故选 A。
固定句型 “It takes sb. time to do sth.”
固定句型 “It is the first time that...”
固定搭配 “in the form of” 意为 “以……

Like most tourists, the first destination that I visited in Xi'an was the Terracotta Army. When I stepped into the museum of 14,000 square meters, it was amazing to see the huge underground kingdom of the first emperor, Qinshihuang. He began to build his final resting place around 246 BC when he was only 13 years old.
In the main pits, there are over 8,000 terracotta warriors and horses. The warriors are all life - sized and set in regular rows. Each face is different with different expressions. Amazingly, no two are exactly the same. These figures appear grey in color. In fact, they were originally beautifully painted in very bright colors, just like real people. Today the Terracotta Army is a must - see for every visitor to Xi'an and has been listed as "The Eighth Wonder of the World".
The sight of the Terracotta Army reminded me of my trip to Egypt, where I visited the Great Pyramid of Giza. There are over 70 pyramids in Egypt stretching down the Nile River Valley. On the edge of the Sahara Desert lies the Great Pyramid of Giza, which was constructed for Egyptian king Khufu between 2600 BC and 2500 BC. The Great Pyramid rises to 481 feet (147 meters) high and is made of over two million blocks of stone. It was the first ever tallest man - made construction on earth for almost 4,000 years. Each year, millions of people go to see this fantastic wonder of human construction, attracted by humans’ rich and brilliant past.
11.Qin Shi Huang began to build his final resting place about 236 BC.
12.There are over 8, 000 terracotta warriors in the main pits.
13.The warriors are all life-sized and set in regular rows.
