Have students read paragraph 2 and discuss the following question. Why is Covid-19 so dangerous? In some cases, the virus causes the body’s own immune system to overreact,resulting in the body killing its own healthy cells. Consequently, the disease can become worse, causing damage to the body’s organs and tissues. 2. Have students read paragraph 3 and answer the following question. What measures can you come up with to protect yourselves from getting infected based on the modes of transmission of the virus? Wear face masks. In this way, respiratory droplets and particles from an infected person can’t enter our body through our mouth, nose or eyes.
