Dear Editor (编辑),
I am writing about the recent article in your newspaper about the decision to build a new sports centre in our town. In my opinion, this is an excellent idea which will have many advantages for our town.
To start with, the town has only two old sports facilities (场所). Many people do not get the chance to play sports when they want. A new sports centre will give more people the opportunity to play sports. It will also give children and teenagers access to better facilities than they have at school, as well as somewhere to go at weekends. At the moment there is very little for them to do.
Moreover, the new centre will be in an excellent location. It is in the centre of town, near the railway station and several major bus routes. Therefore, it will be very town, near the railway. station and several major bus routes. Therefore, it will be very easy to get to. What is more, it will be built on the place where there is an old factory. This means that the town will take a new look.
All in all, I must say that I totally agree with the decision made by the local government. I hope that the plan will be carried out as soon as possible. Yours, John Smith

根据第二段空后的“he put up posters at shopping malls and asked taxi drivers to place bumper stickers on their cars. 故选A。28. 根据第一段“He was only 11 years old when he began his own campaign to save camels from eating plastic. 根据最后一段“A visit to a camel farm in July 2008 was the turning point of Cameron’s life. … So I want to put a stop to it. 故选A。
