◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Share a tongue twister:
Mr Cook says to a cook,“Look at the book.It’s very good.”
Dr Keep says to a keeper,“Look after the tiger.It’s very clever.”
2.The teacher leads students to read the tongue twister.Then invite some students to have a PK.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Underline the letter combination “ee”“oo”“er”,and write the /iː/,/uː/,/ə/,/ʊ/ under the right word.

2.Look through the poem below to present the vowels:/ɑː/,/ɔː/,/e/.

3.Open the book to page 49 and let students read the following words.Pay attention to the sounds of the letter groups in bold.
Step 3 Practice
1.Teach the words in A and then let students read these words together.
2.Ask students to put each of them in the correct place.And check the answers together.
3.Let students look at the following pairs of words.Then let students listen to the tape of B.
4.Let students read the first word of each pair.Then try to read the second one correctly.
5.Lead students to look at the phrases in C and then play the recording.
6.Ask three students to read the phrases.Praise them and correct their pronunciation.
Step 4 Consolidation
1.Write some words and let students read them out.
2.Ask and answer.
