Unit 2 No Rules, No Order-Section B Project This is a project - based learning section from Unit 2 “No Rules, No Order” in the 7th - grade English textbook (People's Education Press, 2024 edition). The main task of this section is to guide students to discuss and design class rule posters. Through a series of activities, students are expected to comprehensively apply the language knowledge they have learned in this unit, such as using imperative sentences and modal verbs “can / must / have to” to talk about rules. This section includes four main activities: Activity 3a: Students are required to choose one of the four given goals as the target for making class rules. These goals are “learn better”, “have fun in school”, “get along well” and “take care of the classroom”. Activity 3b: Based on the chosen goal, students need to brainstorm and write down 5 - 10 class rules to achieve that goal. Activity 3c: Students work in groups to design and make a poster of class rules. Activity 3d: Each group presents their made - up rules and posters, and then the whole class conducts an evaluation. 教学目标 Students can further consolidate and skillfully use imperative sentences and modal verbs “can / must / have to” to talk about rules. Students are able to use relevant vocabulary and sentence patterns to clearly and accurately express their own ideas and suggestions about class rules. 教学重难点 Help students master the vocabulary and sentence patterns related to making class rules. Guide students to complete the making of class rules and poster design through group cooperation. How to inspire students to think and put forward innovative and feasible class rules. How to enable students to complete high - quality poster design within a limited time. 1 Vocabulary Some words and phrases related to classroom behavior: be kind, don't fight, listen carefully, raise your hand, keep quiet, clean the classroom, take care of, etc. 2 Sentence Patterns Imperative sentences: Positive imperative sentences: Listen carefully in class! Be kind to your classmates! Negative imperative sentences: Don't fight with others! Don't be late for school! Modal verbs for expressing rules: “Can” is used to express permission or ability. For example: You can ask questions after class. “Must” is used to express strong obligation. For example: You must wear school uniforms on Monday. “Have to” is also used to express obligation, usually due to external requirements. For example: We have to clean the classroom every day. 教学过程 4.1 Vocabulary Some words and phrases related to classroom behavior: be kind, don't fight, listen carefully, raise your hand, keep quiet, clean the classroom, take care of, etc. 4.2 Sentence Patterns Imperative sentences: Positive imperative sentences: Listen carefully in class! Homework Assignment: Ask students to take the class rules made in this class home, share them with their parents, and listen to their parents' opinions and suggestions. 教学反思 Positive Aspects: Through this class, students actively participated in group cooperation, giving full play to their subjective initiative. They not only improved their English language application ability, but also cultivated their teamwork spirit and innovative thinking ability. Most students were able to master the relevant vocabulary and sentence patterns, and could use them to express their ideas about class rules. Deficiencies: During the teaching process, there were also some shortcomings. For example, some students were not confident enough when expressing their ideas, and the discussions in individual groups were not in - depth enough. In addition, due to time limitations, some groups did not have enough time to fully display the details of their posters. Improvement Measures: In future teaching, more attention will be paid to individual differences among students, providing more opportunities for students to practice oral expression. At the same time, strengthen the guidance of group discussions, clarify the division of labor in groups in advance, and improve the efficiency of group discussions. Also, better arrange the teaching time to ensure that each link can be carried out more fully. 2 / 37 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
