Analysis of the Learners:
Non-finite verbs play a significant role in English grammar of high school. However, students don’t attach much importance to it. Meanwhile, the New Curriculum Standards of English are placing a higher demand on students’ writing abilities, thus strengthening the requirements of overall application of non-finite verbs. At present, students have had a good command of the knowledge of non-finite verbs but not systematically.
Teaching objectives:
1. summarize the grammatical rules of verb-ed forms as attributives, adverbials and object complements;
2. understand the usage of with + object + object complement and verbs like have, make, leave;
3. learn to apply the knowledge of non-finite verbs and polish your writing.
