Many people think it's a festival to remember the great poet, Qu Yuan. What do you do on that day? It's a Scottish festival to celebrate the life and work of the great poet, Robert Burns. 3. Key and challenging points Correctly name different festivals and master their related customs. Use appropriate sentence patterns to talk about favorite festivals and their customs, improving oral expression. Understand the cultural connotations of different festivals and enhance cross - cultural awareness. III. Teaching Procedures Learning activities: Step 1 Lead - in Show a picture of colorful fireworks (as in the textbook). T: What can you see in the picture? Invite Ss to share answers.
