Unit 5 You’re supposed to shake hands. 第一课时(教学设计) 教学目标 1. 语言能力:通过图片,唤醒学生已有知识,学习运用目标句型be supposed to do 来介绍不同国家见面打招呼的习俗。 2. 文化意识:通过表演,能够了解并感受不同国家的习俗,做到入乡随俗,并认可自己国家的文化习俗。 3. 思维品质:通过听力活动练习,能精准预测并提取关键信息,锻炼思维的逻辑推理能力。 4. 学习能力:阅读题干已知信息,能够预测听力内容运用正确的听力策略快速完成听力。 教学重点与难点 1. 掌握重点单词的词义、词性、发音、固定搭配等; 2. 学会使用下列目标句型来谈论各国的见面礼仪: ① What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time? ② You’re supposed to shake hands. ③ In the United States, they’re expected to shake hands. 教学准备 教具准备: 多媒体,听力材料 教学过程 老师活动 学生活动 设计意图 Lead in(5minutes) Show some pictures and ask students: 1.What should you do when you meet your teacher? 2.What are you supposed to do when you meet your friends? 3.When you meet someone for the first time, what are you supposed to do? 4.What are people in Japan and Korea supposed to do when they meet for the first time? 积极思考并回答问题 层层递进,引入本课主题。同时展现目标语言be supposed to do/be expected to do,为听力做好铺垫。 Pre-listening Stage (10mimutes) Presentation 1.Let students observe the picture of 1a. and ask them which country the people comes from. 2.Let students predict the answer of 1a. 1.观察图片找出见面礼仪来推测他们来源于那些国家。 2.根据已知信息进行答案预测。 观察细节,提升逻辑推理能力,预测答案,降低听力难度 While-listening Stage (15minutes) Listen to 1b Play the listening material of 1b Play it again, and let students finish the blank. 完成听力材料1b并核对答案,完成对话填空。 练习听力,巩固目标句型be supposed to do. And ask “What mistakes did she make?” 仔细观察图片和2a的题目,提前预测 引入2a,为听力活动做准备。 Practice -Listen to 2a&2b 1.Review the listening skills: listen to key words 2.Play 2a 3.Review the listening skills: write down the first letter 4.Play 2b 5.Check the answer together 运用听力技巧完成听力2a和 2b的练习。并核对答案。 掌握听力技巧,快速完成听力练习 Post-listening Stage (10minutes) Read the listening material Let students read the listening material together. And let them fill in the following chart. 全班齐读听力材料并完成填空 听力复盘,巩固新知 Learn 2d 1.ask questions about 2d. What did John do last night? Who did John meet? What did John do as soon as he met Sato? What did Sato do? 2.Translate 2d and point out new language points. 1.完成导学案,阅读2d回答问题。 3.翻译2d 语篇学习新单词。锻炼翻译能力 Summary Make a summary about this lesson. Show the mind map of this lesson. 仔细所呈现的知识点,记忆并做好笔记摘抄。 巩固所学知识 Homework Present homework: 1.Act out what people are supposed to do when they meet for the first time .
