Teaching Procedures(总时长 45 分钟) Step 1 Group Goal Selection (8 minutes) 3a: Choosing Class Goals Students work in groups. Choose one goal that the class hopes to achieve from the options: “learn better”, “get along well”, “have fun at school”, “take care of the classroom”. Discuss within groups and make a choice. Walk around to assist with goal discussion and vocabulary use. Step 2 Rule Brainstorming (12 minutes) 3b: Brainstorming Class Rules Groups brainstorm 5 - 10 rules to help the class achieve the chosen goal. Write them down using key sentences like “We must...”, “We have to...”, “We mustn't...”. For example, if the goal is “get along well”, rules could be “We must be kind and helpful.”, “We mustn't fight with classmates.”. Walk around to assist with rule generation and language use. Step 3 Poster Design (10 minutes) 3c: Designing Rule Posters Groups work together to design a poster for their rules. Think of interesting ways to present the rules (e.g., using pictures, catchy phrases). Use the example poster for inspiration. Walk around to assist with poster design and creativity. Step 4 Class Presentation and Voting (12 minutes) 3d: Sharing and Voting on Rules Each group presents their class rules to the class, using sentences like “In our class, we must...”, “We have to...”, “We mustn't...”, “We can...”. After all groups present, the class votes for the favorite set of class rules. Encourage students to give reasons for their votes (e.g., “I like Group 2's rules because they are clear and help us get along well.”). Step 5 Reflecting (3 minutes) Reflecting Section Students assess themselves using the “How well can you do these things?” table. Tick “Very well”, “OK”, or “Needs work” for each item: talking about things you can and cannot do according to rules, explaining how rules can be helpful, using modal verbs to describe rules in different places, understanding how different people think and feel about rules. Discuss briefly as a class, with students sharing one thing they think they did well in the project and one thing they want to improve. Step 6 Summary and Homework Summary: Recap class goal and rule - related vocabulary, key sentences for talking about rules, and the importance of group collaboration in project work. Homework: Write a short paragraph about the favorite class rules and why you think they are good. Think of one more rule that could help the class and share it in the next class. 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
