2. Introduce the listening strategy—Listening for reasons and then Listen to the conversation again and answer the questions.
Listening strategy—Listening for reasons. When people give their opinions or decisions on a matter, they often give reasons for them. Sometimes, the reason is introduced by words such as because or due to. At other times, the reason is given right after the opinion or decision, and the link can be inferred.
New word: infer vt. 推断,推理;暗示
e.g. Much of the meaning must be inferred from the context. 大部分含意必须从上下文中推断。
I inferred from what she said that you have not been well. 我从她的话语里推断你身体一直不太好。
Answers to the questions: (If the students have trouble with listening, they can listen to the conversation for a third time. )
1) Why did Anna meet Wang Le at her home?

I agree with him because great people challenge themselves to solve difficult problems. It helps them reach their goals and achieve great things.
