◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Show some pictures of students doing different activities.Ask students to describe the activities using adverbs,like “He is running fast.” Then show two students doing the same activity and ask,“Who is doing it faster?” to lead into the topic of comparative and superlative adverbs.
Step 2 Work on A
1.Present the sentences about Sandy,Amy and Millie’s reading speed on the screen.Let students read the sentences carefully and observe the usage of comparative and superlative adverbs.
2.Explain the rules of forming comparative and superlative adverbs.
3.Work on A1
(1)Let students complete Millie’s sentences with the correct forms of the words in brackets.
(2)Then ask some students to read out their answers and explain their choices.
4.Work on A2
(1)Ask students to write at least three sentences describing how they and their group members performed during a group activity,using comparative and superlative adverbs.
(2)Select some students to share with the class.
Step 3 Work on B
1.Present the text about reflexive pronouns.Let students read the text and find the reflexive pronouns.Explain that we use reflexive pronouns when the subject and the object are the same person(s) or thing(s).
2.Work on B1
(1)Let students complete Millie’s text with correct reflexive pronouns.Walk around the classroom to offer help.
(2)Then check the answers together.
3.Work on B2
(1)Ask students to write a short text about other people’s learning experiences using reflexive pronouns.
(2)Let them share their texts with the class.
◇教学反思◇
本课时通过多种练习方式,学生对副词比较级和最高级、反身代词的理解和运用有了一定的进步。但在区分副词比较级和最高级的不规则变化以及准确运用反身代词方面,部分学生仍容易出错,需要在后续教学中增加针对性练习,强化记忆。同时,可以创设更多真实情境,让学生在实际运用中更好地掌握这些语法知识。
