◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Show some pictures of two or more people or things with obvious differences.Ask students to describe the differences using comparative or superlative adjectives they know.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Present the sentences with comparative and superlative adjectives from the reading texts on the screen.Let students read the sentences carefully and observe the usage.
2.Explain the rules of forming comparative and superlative adjectives,including short adjectives,long adjectives and irregular adjectives.Use examples to illustrate each rule.
3.Write the rules on the blackboard.
Step 3 Practice
1.Work on A
(1)Let students complete the table with the correct comparative and superlative adjectives individually.
(2)Check the answers together.
2.Work on B
(1)Present Daniel’s notes about his classmates.Let students complete the notes with the correct forms of the adjectives.
(2)Then ask some students to read out their answers and explain their choices.
3.Work on C
(1)Ask students to describe their friends,including their looks and what they are good at,using comparative and superlative adjectives.
(2)Let them share their descriptions with their partners first,and then select some students to share with the class.

本课时通过多种练习方式,学生对形容词比较级和最高级的构成规则和用法有了更清晰的认识。但在不规则变化形式的记忆和“more/most+形容词”与“形容词 +er/est”的选择上,部分学生还存在问题,后续需要增加针对性练习,强化记忆。
