Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Ask students to read the sentences in 3a.Then ask them to notice the comparatives in bold and find more examples in Section A. 2.Have a class discussion.Ask students to explain the meaning and usage of each comparative in the sentences.Encourage them to share their understandings. Step 3 Work on 3b 1.Ask students to look at the words in brackets in 3b.Explain the task of writing questions and answers using the comparative form. 2.Let students work individually to complete the task.Then ask them to check their answers with a partner. 3.Invite several students to share their questions and answers with the class.Correct any mistakes and give feedback.
